  • Work are brilliant and so understanding.

Mum will know youngest isn't in nursery as she works on the same site although not in the school. Although I'm considering changing the fact they talk to her about DD because I don't feel they should. Anyway I guess it's her problem that she has an issue with it and I'll deal with that as it comes :o

Nurse has been and she thinks we will start the meds again they were trying to bring her down off. The fact being its 9 days off and we are already not controlling things, never mind the horrid withdrawals. It will mean she will have the awful side effects again probably at the start but worth it in the long run. Waiting for consultant confirmation as he is only who can authorise the meds as its unlicensed in small ones. Fingers crossed!

I've got the slow cooker on for dinner, will really need to do a bit of shopping this week :o

HI you are doing great. Why is your mum going to be cross? These things happen!

I know how stressful it is to sort out childcare, so can understand that, but you have a good employer who will support you.

You have done nothing wrong and are showing your children that it is possible to work, run a house and manage things. It's hard sometimes (often!) but you still get on with it. That's a brilliant lesson for them to learn!

  • Hey beautiful! I am back!!!! Phew! Will catch up with your diary later! Thanks for posting on my diary and thinking of me X
  • Definitely sort out the issue with them talking to your Mum about youngest Hidden - it's clearly not leaving you feeling comfortable is it. The fact that she works in the same location shouldn't make any difference at all!

You're right about it being her problem - if I were you if she says anything I'd gently tell her so, as well!

Hidden, hope the wee one is better soon & that you aren’t feeling so down. *hugs*

It’s only natural to feel anxious & have some doubts about taking on the job & balancing it with the kids but as everyone else has said, you’re doing brilliantly so far.

I’m so glad for you that work are being supportive. If your work aren’t annoyed at you I don’t see why your Mum should be - it’s not as if you’re just taking time off for the fun of it.

  • DD has got some pred so hopefully she will be back on the up now. Spoke to school when collecting the other two and we've agreed youngest will go tomorrow for the hour (only the 1 hour) her SALT team will still be able to see her then. Obviously if she struggles they'll call me to collect her.
She isn't contagious to anyone before anyone shouts at me :o

I feel a bit bad about taking her but she does seem okay other than her breathing which is obviously something that will be up and down, she can't stay off forever.

DS wanted to try the new S@nta sauces advertised on tv. Taking a quick look online at least one of them is dairy free. Will have to remember to look when I shop. I don't really buy sauces because I think they're expensive and full of rubbish :o But as a quick easy meal and a one off I said I'd look for him.
  • Might be worth looking about to see if there are any vouchers online you might be able to use for the sauce Hidden? If it's new there might well be!

  • Glad to hear little one is a bit better, and it will lift her spirits to be amongst other children, and give you a very well earned bit of respite.
Also how fab does forest school sound? I've clearly missed out.
