Hope she's better soon but also hope work will understand if she isn't.

Glad you find help on here. I honestly don't know what I would've done without the support I got on here 4 years ago when Mr SA was so poorly.

    Take care lovely xx

  • Hope youngest is much better today and you've all been ok to get on with your days hidden.

I did wonder from what you'd said earlier whether your starting the diary here had been a turning point on the going out thing - you're agoraphobic, yes? Grew up with a Mum who was - so kind of know the signs anyway, and a few things you'd said rang bells...you're doing SO well at conquering this - I know that sometimes one of the best ways through it is being in a position where you simply have to do stuff - and you've been left in that position exactly of course. Regardless though - the progress you've made just in this short time is amazing.

Can you talk to the youngests healthcare team about the "needing to clean or they'll get sick" thing I wonder? it may be that for her there are certain higher standards that have to be observed - but they're the ones to set you straight on what really is required on that aren't they. As for the other two - and indeed you as well - a bit of honest dirt will actually help them be less likely to pick up every bug going of course - as their immune systems will be that wee bit more robust. To be honest they're going to be in contact with everything imagineable at school anyway - so they'll pick up bugs regardless, it'll certainly be no reflection on you!

I agree that Flylady might work really well for you though - it will give you the control over things, while setting realistic levels to work to, and the lasses on the Flylady thread on here (Old Style board I think?) are great fun too!

Charlies Tribe you made me laugh about the skirting boards by the way - SAME! :rotfl: Bathroom floor got scrubbed for the first time in weeks at the weekend - I've hoovered the loose hair and dust up but it's not seen a wet cloth in ages prior to that! :D:o

  • Thank you for popping in x

Youngest still poorly. Driving me a bit insane tbh. She is so clingy I can't even pee on my own! She hasn't been to school today and won't be tomorrow. Trying to find childcare for a well 3 year old is hard, a sick one is impossible! Who know's what I'll do tomorrow, everyone is also at work and who helped today flys out on holiday tonight :(

I can feel myself having a wobble. All those who said taking the job so soon was a bad idea etc. I wouldn't fit everything in. As soon as DD was sick I'd be letting people down - Guess it was right  Work have been lovely though. Just as they where last time.

I just feel fed up :o

Sorry for the rubbish post feeling sorry for myself.

Just want to say that you're NOT letting the most important people down, the wee one...
The folks at work know you, know your wee one and the situation and they will help and support you through it. This is just a wee bump in the road so please don't stress over it

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

  • Don't feel rubbish HI, you're amazing :A. I'm sure work understands that you can't help being off occasionally.

We all have bad days but you shouldn't doubt yourself, going to work to help support your family is something you should be proud of.

  • Absolutely agree. Things happen to all of us that are beyond our control. Work were obviously aware that this was a possibility when they employed you and were still willing to take you on. You're not letting anybody down. In fact, I'm sure you'd be the first person to help someone else out. Hope the wee one is better son. Take care of yourself.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.
