one thing seems clear to me that once you have spoken with customer service they dont make a note on your account as to what has been said unlike some companies do ;)
the only thing they do make a note of is the reason you want to cancel :D
The girl didn't even ask me why I wanted to cancel, just got really stroppy about returning the cards, etc. ::)Wins since 2009 = £17,600MANY THANKS TO ALL OPS0 -

I phoned and told them this.
they are now sending out a new pack. and have been

Once i recieve this I will cancel
What a freebie!! ;D0 -
Reading all these previous posts about the trouble people have had with this company's customer service, I suspect that they are offering their staff a bonus if they can get people to keep and pay for their cards. Or possibly having their wages cut if they don't!! - Horrible company.
Still haven't received mine, but I certainly won't take any b*ll*cks from them when it does arrive, thanks to everyone's posts on this thread.
Cheers, chaps!A penny saved is a penny gained0 -
sounds a bit like a thing we did years ago.It was wildlife cards that came with free mini binoculars.
The cards were lovely but my son was too young to appreciate them and they got damaged really quickly. When we rang to cancel , the lady on the phone sounded quite disgusted that we had the cheek to not want the cards but still keep the binoculars. >:(
We very nearly had an arguement before she would accept we were in the right. Grrr0 -
Ah yes, that would be Wildlife Factfile if I remember rightly. Sounds like a familiar scenario. I think we've still got the binoculars somewhere.A penny saved is a penny gained0

I received a pack of recipe cards and a bill (I assume) this morning, so I have scrawled 'RETURN TO SENDER' across it in marker pen and will post it later today.0

I am the same get an email first thing yesterday saying subscription cancelled, then later in day received small package of recipe cards. Will be returned to sender soon. Unclear if they are still looking for payment for first lot of recipe cards.0

Can I ask you when did you cancel your order?
If you only got an email yesterday I presume the card would have been sent out before the email.
I am quite worried as I have emailed them 4 times to cancel and they have not replied once.
Who would want to pay £4.99 for the cards not me! You will be able to buy a Good cookery book in the January sales.
I went to the post office this morning to get a reciept for proof of posting, but you have to get them weighed
first. It cost me £1.27Lizbee.;)0
