    Might be worth recording the calls and putting them on internet as how not to have good customer service. :)
    Any chance that they will still bill you if you just contact via e-mail (like the studio) and then add large late charges if you don't pay them?
  • I called them first thing and the guy seemed to be reading off a card. Anyway canceled and I would think that as a previous stated call them early as the later on in the day the worst the mood gets. What a nightmare !!!!!!!

    I cancelled through the automated telephone system and email them asking if they would pay the postage to return the cards - no reply !

    I won't be bullied by anyone - they are in the wrong, I'm not, if they want to carry it on to the point that it goes to court I'm more than willing to stand up for my rights.

    Maybe it'll teach them a lesson - don't make promises that you've no intention of keeping!

    HAve emailed twice to cancel, no reply, i did ask them to confirm my cancellation, Will keep everyone posted. Wish me luck!

    I took the free wok offer. I was ready to pay the £4.99 and just cancel my account, without all the hassel of sending the stuff back (I hadn't read that the company couldn't be arsed to pay for return postage). So I phoned them up, and paid the £4.99 on my Mastercard.

    However, checking my details online, the day after I used the card there's a £500 payment to Ladbrokes in London.
    I've phoned the emergency line to cancel my card, but they can't start an investigation until proper customer services start at 8am. Now i'm not saying that it was someone at the company that stole my credit card details, i've used the card on the web quite a lot, but just be careful.

    i phoned them this week and was on hold for a minute or so but when i said i wanted to return the stuff a resigned voice just said keep it. i did say i would return if he wanted, he just said no - keep it.!! no hassle really ;D

  • I only just received the wok today leaving just I day to make the requested payment??

    I have therefore submitted a cancellation request on their website tonight and will follow up with phone call tomorrow.
