M&S charging for bag for plants to go in

I guess it is subjective, Tesco used to give out bags that were biodegradable free of charge, I recycled them around the house, a "bag for life" was a thick bag you paid for.
When the legislation came in, Tesco changed the bag type to a less eco friendly bag that is not biodegradable, they saved a fortune on the bags they used to give free and if they give surplus money to charity it is our money they are giving not theirs.
This was a kind gesture by M&S to give away the heavy duty bags for life and then to honour that lifetime replacement..
'The legislation' came into effect on 5th October 2015.
Tesco changed from biodegradable bags in 2011.

Well customers are important, lots of retailers forget that and it might explain why some are successful and others have falling profits.
Oh yeah because of course whenever I read any business websites it states a companies share prices had risen of fallen due to not offering 5p bags!
Seriously get real!0 -
