It wasn't the legislation that got Tesco to change from biodegradable bags.

'The legislation' came into effect on 5th October 2015.

Tesco changed from biodegradable bags in 2011.

Oh yeah because of course whenever I read any business websites it states a companies share prices had risen of fallen due to not offering 5p bags!
