Not really - I've lost nearly 3st (that stone is really fighting me which doesn't help!) and would really like to lose a total of 5.5 stone, so really just over half way.

As hubby said to me this morning I've probably reached the end of the diet alone road and now need to add or change my exercise routine....hence the kayaking!

I'm sure exercise will help but it's food that helps most. Lots of people (some through disability others, like me, through idleness:o) lose with little or no exercise.

Would you have time to post your menus? It's possible that there's something we could tweak. Or why not try some SP days or just SP meals or really up your Speed and water intake. All of these things can help. Personally I averaged 1.5lbs a week getting to target so not everyone has big losses.

Pork is cooking and smells gorgeous:drool:. While I was pottering in the kitchen I've prepped a big pot of Delia's red cabbage so that can cook through the evening.

Hi everyone - hope your days are going well.

I'm really trying to stay on track but a visit to costco yesterday did not help! They had loads of tasters so DH and I snacked our way round the shop. Smoked Salmon and turkey were fine - Krispy Kreme doughnuts were definitely not Free food :(

    Anyway, Yesterdays menu was:
    B fruit and Yogurt
L Snacks around Costco & some SW quiche when I got home
D HM Veg curry with rice & Naan bread
    HEx A Milk in tea
    HExB - nothing :o
Syns: probably 3/4 of a glazed ring doughnut, some vodka and wine samples, and an Aldi Magnum. I wouldn't have eaten that if I'd known it was 18.5 syns. Oh and a bit of Naan bread. Probably 30 Syns:eek:

Today I'm trying to have a low syn day.
    B: fruit and yogurt
    L: SW quiche and salad
D: BBQ food. HM Chicken kebabs, HM SW coleslaw, HM Couscous with loads of veg, salad.
    HexA - Mozerella with salad
HEx B - Don't know (does anyone else struggle with the HEb? If I don't have cereal or bread, I just don't use it. I cannot afford to eat 2 Hifi every day.

I don't have a problem with HEBs as I always have bread or cereal for breakfast.

Have you tried Aldi Benefit bars? They're 2 for a HEB and much cheaper (99p) than Hi-Fi.

    Thanks for the offer.

What I'll do is post the day after, starting Tuesday (so in effect posting Monday's menu as I can never decide 1st thing)

I know I don't eat 1/3rd speed at every meal but have increased my intake of water considerably over the last few weeks - I bought one of those water carriers from home bargains which holds 2 litres so it's like a ready reckoner. I also drink a lot of coffee, using my milk allowance, but apparently this counter acts the water - especially recently in the hot weather I've gone from coffee to water.

My losses have never been big - a 2lb loss is amazing for me but would love to see at least a 1lb a week

Enjoy you pork.....I've got chicken !

tweets, I bought Salter digital body analyser scales last year from Debenhams they're £20.80 now.
They measure water and fat content as well!!!!!

They did have them in Argos but must be old stock as not there now.
    Edit £21.99 argos.

I always go for Salter for kitchen and bathroom scales, pretty decent quality although they're not giving me the information I would like at the moment.!
curl girl with a space - even though there is no space in my cupboard!!!
