Thanks for that bubbs . I really like those and it's not often they're on offer.

I bought a couple of packs last week in Tesco's and I thought they were good at £1.50; but obviously not as cheap as though. Unfortunately I don't get to Asda very often.

    Good Morning :hello:

I'm pretty confident it is. If you look on Morrisons website, you can see the writing on the pack quite clearly.

    Thank you :)

Managed to sleep last night due to bedroom being cooler :j

    Raining this morning.
  • Morning everyone

Thanks for talking me down yesterday though I'm still pretty annoyed about it! I have decided to take the pragmatic approach and see what it's like for the next couple of weeks & then decide what I'm going to do - but to be honest I've been thinking about knocking it on the head for a while - not only does she seem to ignore me (though I have tbh & say I don't think it's intentional) but the weight loss is slowing down now and it seems daft to pay £5 a week for such small losses.

Not sure what the menu is including today though activity wise I'm going to my first kayaking lesson tonight - the plan is we go kayaking in August along the Norweign fjords....wish me luck!

I used to shop there regularly before I became an Aldi convert. Now for the very few things Aldi don't have I go to Sainsbury's as it's closer. I do go to Asda to fill up the car so this time I'll go into the store while I'm there and buy some for the freezer.:)

Good luck with the kayaking, I'm sure it'll be good fun and good exercise too.:)

Losses do seem to slow down over time. Are you close to target? Once you're familiar with the plan, it's perfectly possible to do SW just by coming on here. I only go to WI every few weeks these days and that's really to just keep me focused and maintain website access.

I had Bran Flakes this morning. Never tried them before and don't think I'll be buying another pack. Fortunately I had fruit with them which gave a bit of flavour. I'll never criticise Puffed Wheat for being bland again.:(

I called into Home Bargains yesterday. I only go there every few months. A few SW friendly buys: Chef Kuo straight to wok noodles were 59p which is massively cheaper than Amoy. They're the wholewheat ones and 1 syn for the 2x150g pack. Butter beans were (IIRC) 29p and a large jar of jalapenos (red or green) was 89p. I like their rindless smoked bacon too and always keep a bag of mature grated cheddar (less than £5 per kg) in the freezer.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB Bran Flakes with HEA milk and raspberries
L: veggie (courgette, onion, mushroom) omelette with lettuce and tomatoes
D: JO roast pork (on celery, carrot and red onion) with SW roast potatoes and parsnips, cauli, broccoli and cabbage
Syns: HM gravy and weekend wine:D.
P.S. Note to self. keep away from the crackling.

    Today's plan:

    B - SW fry up
    L - tuna mayo & cucumber sandwich (HEB + 0.5)
D - SW faggots in onion gravy, mash, veg; probably have fruit & quark after

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
Syns - LTL mayo 0.5. nothing else planned.

Not really - I've lost nearly 3st (that stone is really fighting me which doesn't help!) and would really like to lose a total of 5.5 stone, so really just over half way.

As hubby said to me this morning I've probably reached the end of the diet alone road and now need to add or change my exercise routine....hence the kayaking!
