    Well done Bubbs!
I'm just glad mine is going in the right direction now! Hoping my indiscretions on Friday night don't damage my chances of another loss too much by Wednesday!

    Today's menu consisted of:

    Breakfast: mandarin,honeydew melon,apple

No lunch today-forgot to pack something to eat while I was driving between customers' houses.I think tomorrow,a day off,I will make some mini crustless quiches to eat on the go

Tea: omelette:tomato, onion, cheese (2 syns),served with tomato and spinach.

Went out tonight a girls' coffee evening.I took along some mikados and M+S mini coconut meringues. For a while I was counting every 1/2 syn and discretely making notes on my phone (!),but soon lost count.I know the whole pkt of 15 meringues is only 7.5 syns to start with, and I wasn't the only one eating them, and there was still 7 left at the end of the night.Mikados (1/2 syn) were also shared,so not a bad night syn-wise (did have a couple of crisps, but wasn't too fussed on them).

Have had lots of milk in cups of tea,no HEB today, and won't have one now before going to bed.

About an hour brisk walking today.

    Syns - salad dressing (0.5), miso (0.5), Quavers (3)
    Zebras rock

    Flipping computer ate my post!

Just flying through again, off to Dublin this afternoon for Take that, an early birthday treat.

Gave myself a talking too last night, really feeling awfully unfit and horrible with this extra weight on. Between waiting on the outcome of the interview and trying to get my dissertation finished I've not been trying this week either.

On Saturday I'll be 38 and I am determined that 38 will see me back in good shape.

    Hope you are all well!

Thanks everyone for the ideas for the radishes. Will try some of them out this week.

    Today's plan:

B - bacon & mushroom sandwich (HEA + 0.5 for LTL mayo instead of spread)
L - celery & apple soup (not synning the apple as it'll be less than one per serving) both need using up!
D - "mousakka" (but using beef mince instead of lamb) just layers of mince cooked with onions, garlic, the dreaded radishes, tomatoes; layered with aubergine & courgette slices and topped with sliced potatoes

So a very low syn day - but needs to be as syn overload yesterday:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.

Woah something really odd just happened - my computer signed me out and the thread went all bright white and sleek and new. I signed back in and it's all green and clunky and familiar again - phew! I don't like it when the forum changes :o

I had visions of having to post pictures of myself in my undies.

I totally do this (and publish them on Instagram!) because it helps to see how well you're actually doing - weighing and measuring are all well and good, but when you see your back rolls disappearing it's great!

The only 'Against' argument I can think of is all the time it takes to plan and prep meals. The counter-argument is of course that you can batch cook and have 'ready meals' in the freezer, and how much prep does a tuna salad really need? Pure laziness really!

Well done to all the losers, some really ace losses the last few days! Thanks Shala for the chart and well done Bubbs SOTW!

My meals over the weekend were SW but I did have quite a bit of chocolate and beer :o I did also run 13 miles and walk about 3 miles so not all bad. Back on plan yesterday, though did finish on 17 syns because I couldn't resist a Chomp in the petrol station.

    Today:
B - Smoothie* - Raspberries (1), blueberries (1.5), apple (1.5), FF nat yog, oats, chia seeds, flaked almonds, spinach
D - Bacon, onion, mushroom, tomato, tinned potato fry up (was going to be an omelette but just realised I have no eggs!)
T - Spag bol from freezer, cheese
    HEA - Milk/cheese
    HEB - oats/chia seeds/almonds
    Syns - Sugar in coffee (2), smoothie (4), hot choc (2) = 8

Also going to make a batch of free houmous in the blender to snack on with carrot and cucumber sticks throughout the day as Tuesday is Danger Day as I plan my lesson for tonight.

*I know it seems I'm having smoothies all the time these days but this is only my third, just seems to coincide with when I post here (when I have more time I guess). And I'm synning them so I guess there's no harm even if I had one every day?

Kathryn - sorry to hear you've had a tough week but I hope you make it to WI today and can draw the line, otherwise you may be tempted to carry on down that path. You've had so much to deal with, no-one is going to judge you for a little blip x
