About to say exactly the same!

May have a go tonight when oven is on with our chicken.
I normally put a Flapjack in but not tonight!
Is there a SW variation, cause OH and myself both love/loved Flapjack?

Not aware of one and doubt very much you could find anything which would come near a real flapjack within syns! Everything in a flapjack is high in syns. There certainly isn't anything on the SW website.

Just had a look at Food Fighter website and found this but 6.5 syns each or HEB + 0.5 syn (probably a bit more than that now as sweetner now synned so an extra 0.5 if used, possibly).

On the basis that you can split your HEXB this recipe includes a total of 10 HEX B (all plans) and 5 syns- the recipe makes 10 flapjacks so each flapjack is 1 HEXB plus half a syn OR 6.5 syns if not counted as HEXB.

    Ingredients:
    128g ready to eat prunes
    106g ready to eat apricots
    3 tablespoons olive oil
    120g porridge oats
    2 tablespoons honey
1-2 tablespoon(s) sweetner (if you like things extra sweet although I prefer it without)
    1 teaspoon cinnamon
    half teaspoon salt

    Method:
Pulse the prunes and apricots in a food processor until chopped very fine. Add in the rest of the ingredients and stir the claggy mixture very well.
Spray a shallow tin (approx 5 inches by 8?) with fry light and spoon mixture in and press down.

Bake for 20 minutes at 180C/350F/ gas mark 4. Run a knife along the edge of the cooked mixture and cut into 10 pieces while still hot (they will feel soft at this point but don't worry- they get crisper as they cool). Leave them in the tray to cool and once cool, store or eat!

Just been having a look on the web for more SW recipes and have come across Slimmingeats.com. Can't post any recipes as she specifically asks that you don't. Well worth a look.

Not just recipes but meal plans as well.

Lots of sweet and savoury recipes all of which are either Free or low syn.

Not buying anything frozen at the moment - my fridge/freezer has just decided to die:eek:. Fortunately I had enough space in my chest freezer to get everything in but no space for anything else.

Some of the fridge stuff is in the fridge in the motorhome on the drive (glad I've got that!). Some has gone into a cool box with a frozen cool pack. Will swap them over before bed tonight.

Just glad I had the money available to just buy another immediately, ordered last night about 7pm and being delivered tomorrow:D.

Hopefully everything will be OK until it arrives and has got cold.

    WIZKID,

This week I've just reversed the rubbish I was eating (I had REALLY gone off plan!). It just shows how quickly the damage can be undone.

I've eaten a lot of Quorn this week - quorn roast (free), veggie chilli, sausages and the southern fried chicken burgers. I've had this with baked potatoes, salad, roasted veg and roast potatoes (aunt bessies). My treats have been Options hot chocolate honeycomb flavour (gives a really sweet hit), low syn crisps and the odd biscuit here and there. I've also had more fruit than usual this week (grapes, satsumas, blueberries, pear, pineapple, mango, melon).

I don't drink milk so use Alpro dark chocolate almond milk (long life, not the chilled one) for my HEA (like chocolate milkshake, really delicious). If I have nothing in the house for tea and don't want to give into temptation then it's been scrambled eggs, heB toast, tomatoes, beans and ketchup. I also discovered Quorn low fat sausages which are totally Free. I don't work for Quorn btw!!

Oh and Mugshots have been really useful too.

I follow the old Green plan which worked for me in the past. I certainly haven't been hungry this week and have enjoyed my meals. My main problem was just managing to find the momentum to stay on plan for a few days at a time but I seem to have cracked that now thank goodness. Just need to get over this lurgy!

Good luck to everyone, keep going x

Ps i find looking at SW instagrammers helpful. I found out about the alpro chocolate milk from the SW Miss Slinky 2017 who has halved her body weight in one year and looks incredible. Search for Jennifer Ginley SW. If her before and after images don't inspire you, nothing will!! I also fished out a gorgeous dress from the depths of my wardrobe and am determined to get into this summer. It's hanging on my doorframe now as a reminder!

Many thanks for the info I will try some of your ideas too. X
