Squiggly Diddly, congratulations on your loss and your shiny. :TGood luck with your interview. It's a great idea to set down healthy eating habits before you start work and losing weight will boost your confidence.

Thank you 🙂 Yes definitely, especially with so many schools focusing on healthy eating /exercise for the children. And although I throw myself into everything and love it, I'm sure teaching PE would be easier when slimmer...

    Morning all,

I have the lurgy so am feeling rubbish. However, on a positive note, on my first week back on plan I have lost 6 lbs

I'm really happy with this. Fast forward to next Sunday and I will hopefully have lost all the weight I put on after falling off the bandwagon. Fingers crossed!

    WIZKID,

This week I've just reversed the rubbish I was eating (I had REALLY gone off plan!). It just shows how quickly the damage can be undone.

I've eaten a lot of Quorn this week - quorn roast (free), veggie chilli, sausages and the southern fried chicken burgers. I've had this with baked potatoes, salad, roasted veg and roast potatoes (aunt bessies). My treats have been Options hot chocolate honeycomb flavour (gives a really sweet hit), low syn crisps and the odd biscuit here and there. I've also had more fruit than usual this week (grapes, satsumas, blueberries, pear, pineapple, mango, melon).

I don't drink milk so use Alpro dark chocolate almond milk (long life, not the chilled one) for my HEA (like chocolate milkshake, really delicious). If I have nothing in the house for tea and don't want to give into temptation then it's been scrambled eggs, heB toast, tomatoes, beans and ketchup. I also discovered Quorn low fat sausages which are totally Free. I don't work for Quorn btw!!

Oh and Mugshots have been really useful too.

I follow the old Green plan which worked for me in the past. I certainly haven't been hungry this week and have enjoyed my meals. My main problem was just managing to find the momentum to stay on plan for a few days at a time but I seem to have cracked that now thank goodness. Just need to get over this lurgy!

Good luck to everyone, keep going x

Ps i find looking at SW instagrammers helpful. I found out about the alpro chocolate milk from the SW Miss Slinky 2017 who has halved her body weight in one year and looks incredible. Search for Jennifer Ginley SW. If her before and after images don't inspire you, nothing will!! I also fished out a gorgeous dress from the depths of my wardrobe and am determined to get into this summer. It's hanging on my doorframe now as a reminder!

    Hi everyone

Got really fed up after last week's gain and it took until Wednesday to talk myself around (I was thinking of calling it a day) so today's 2lb loss was very welcome.

Bit worried about next week as I'm off to Edinburgh for the week but there's not much I can do about that so will have to try & be as good as I can (there won't be much drinking so that's a plus)

Well done to both of you!

Gettingtheresometime - one of my consultant's favourite phrases where you might have trouble sticking to plan is "Be good when you can and careful when you can't". Think it's a good saying for holidays and working away.

Another on plan (hopefully) EE day today:

    B - SW fry up
L - cheesy pizza (sort of!) using HEB bread for base topped with sliced tomato, fried onion, pepper and topped with cheese (6 syns?) Not sure how much cheese I'll need to use so will adjust accordingly when I make it
D - roast pork, roast potatoes, roast onions, roast carrots, roast peppers, cabbage; apple sauce (0.5 syn)

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - cheese 6?; apple sauce 0.5

Jennifer Ginley wow, what an inspiration!
I love real life stories like this.
    Thanks Moneysaverme for posting.

Some of her photos reminded me of my Sis, who is also a Size 24 but if ever I comment on her weight we always end up falling out.
