We have tuck shop because there are no shops round here, and it's handy when you need chocolate and crisps but hard to resist in the post lunch lethargic part of the day.

    Today's menu was/is
    HEXA Milk
HEXAB 2 slices wholemeal bread from 400g loaf
Breakfast crustless quiche full of speed, last piece left
Lunch sandwich with scraping low fat mayo, watercress, cucumber and ham
Tea Linda McCartney red onion sauasage, onions, mushrooms, cauli, carrots, broc and gravy
    Drinks, water,tea, peps max
That's a good menu bubbs, very close to SP except for the sausages. Did you deliberately not have carbs?

What a brilliant thing to aim for lantanna. Do you have family in Australia? Good luck for the interview when it comes.

My lunch today was dreadful. Probably the worst we've had in the years I've been meeting up with this group of friends. I think the chef just nipped to Iceland. There was nothing healthy to choose so I had spring rolls, fishcake and chips (all obviously oven cooked convenience food). Both courses had exactly the same mediocre handful of leaves form a salad bag. So lots of wasted syns. The good news is I just had a slimline tonic to drink.:D

It has been a beautiful day here today!

    Good work, Mwm and WJN.

I like how creative you are about getting your steps in, lantanna. Great news about the interview. I’d love to go to Oz, but DH doesn’t like long flights, which is why I went with a friend to India.

Oh, maman, shame about your lunch. For a change, I did not too badly! I had – and I’m quoting the menu here - CAJUN CHICKEN SALAD WITH MIXED PEPPERS, RED ONION, CHERRY TOMATOES, PAPRIKA CROUTONS, TOPPED WITH LEMON CREME FRAICHE AND A LIME & GINGER DRESSING. The dressing & crème fraiche were minimal. It was a huge piece of butterflied chicken too. And NO cake or pudding or starter, so the supportive vibes must have made it through the airwaves. I have had a curly wurly (6 syns) this evening.

All the grandchildren are off school tomorrow because of the elections, so we are taking them to the safari park and will have our lunch there (and probably snacks)… but there will be walking involved. So the weather will probably break!

    Thursday
    Pre-breakfast: banana
Breakfast: none – will be heading
Lunch: ***!!!Out!!!*** Please send good choice vibes again!
Dinner BE inspirations fish chargrills with sun ripened basil tomato & oregano (½), Jersey Royals, green beans, cauliflower, melon, WW yogurt
Snacks: hexa & hexb not planned but may have been used up for lunch.

I ended up with courgetini carbonara for dinner (SW recipe) Lots of broad beans, mushrooms & courgettes instead of pasta. It was yummy but the sauce split a bit so it looked a bit odd.

I'm trying to resist chocolate now...:o

I also went for a run tonight. First time in around 2 years, so I'm hoping it helps get my metabolism moving a bit. I'm not sure whether I subconsciously eat more when I exercise, but I never find that I lose weight when I run. It defo helps with the wobble though :D

    Evening all...

Well done to all losers. :T And well done on the phone interview, lantanna - good luck for next week! :D

Greentiger, your lunch sounds delicious - well done on making such a good choice . Maman, sorry that your lunch out wasn't so good - it makes me mad when I have to spend syns on stuff that isn't worth it, so I can imagine how cross you were! :(

I've stuck to plan today. HExB was a hi-fi mocha bar, and I did have the Anzac biscuit at work... I am going to syn it as a hobnob(?), which is the nearest thing I can liken it to (although I could also taste coconut in it). Can't get on to the WLP for some reason tonight, so will have to work it out later... :o

    Tomorrow's plan is:
B: Banana, raspberries & blueberries with Greek yoghurt
L: NCG Pulled Pork & Bean soup (HExB + 1 syn... 300ml is HExB but we will be sharing a 700ml carton, so the extra 50ml will be the extra 1 syn!)
D: Salmon with ginger, chilli & lime, new potatoes (Tesco had yellow stickered a mountain of them today when I popped in at lunchtime! :j) and salad (lettuce, Chinese leaf, cucumber, tomato, spring onion & peppers)
HExA... Maybe a hot chocolate made with milk before bed...???

    Have a good Thursday everyone...

    P x
