Sorry to tell you gettingtheresometime but blueberries aren't Speed.:( They fall into the free group of fruits like bananas, grapes and pineapple. They are good for you though.:)

Let us know if you do put the Asda meals through the syn calculator abbafan. I tried one of the curries (chicken jalfrezi IIRC) and it was OK but now I'm a convert to Aldi Lamb Rogan Josh.

Good plan to take one day at a time lantanna. I hope you have loads of good days.:)

Was a bit cross with Pizza Express today. I asked for my salad Nicoise with dressing on the side. They were fine about that and brought me a little tub of dressing/mayo. Unfortunately the salad itself was tossed in vinaigrette. I did complain to the waiter after I'd eaten it. I suppose I should have sent it back but too late now. Then I ordered a G&T with slimline and they only had full fat tonic, so I was forced to drink wine.
Not sure what's happening about dinner. I'll probably be a bit hungry but not really enough for a full meal. I'll see what DH fancies. It'll definitely be syn free.

So syns so far today are 1 glass of wine and some vinaigrette and a few olives. Hopefully that'll be the lot.:)

First chance I've had to get on today! Have bought a new laptop nd have spent half the day setting it up! It's nearly there now thankfully.

Not been a bad SW day:

B - scrambled eggs on toast
L - ham salad - lettuce, cucumber, tomato, orange pepper, beetroot, pickled onions
D - HM chicken curry/rice which we should have last last night but ended up with a chicken & salad but no pitta, Go Me!

Snacks - biscuits; grapes, strawberries, pineapple, quark

Have been to look at a caravan for DD2 today as it's local to us but the seller has someone else looking at it tomorrow afternoon so he it doesn't sell he'll give us a call so that DD can come down at the weekend to see it for herself and decide whether to buy it (she just wanted us to check it out to see whether it was VFM!). Hope the guy who's looking tomorrow doesn't want it (is that bad?).

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
Syns - had a couple of Lotus biscuits 3; mini meringue 1

Walked to city (and round shops) and back today :D then walked dog so over 10 miles of good walking (not mooching :p). Oh don't my legs know about it now though .
Had haircut while there too! Also enquired about the bee tattoo for Manchester only to be told 'we only support local charities!'. Turns out they will do a bee for less than the £50 Manchester were charging.

Now just need to stop eating carp :o
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Well I wasn't expecting it but a nice surprise... 1lb off! This takes me to my lowest weight. Not that I'm expecting that to stay the same after a weekend away in London but I'll try my best for the rest of the week. My husband is away next week so I at least have nobody to veer me any further off course!

Thank you Bubbs - I had half a plain naan so about same weight as a mini one but I think there's less fat in the plain ones. I'll call it 81/2 as I'm still under 15 for the day.

Well done miss teach . That's good news!

Thinking about what you said about eating out. When I was getting to target I made really sensible choices to begin with. Then DH and I were in London between Christmas and New Year. I ordered an omelette, JP and salad. It was awful. Dried out potato and a few leaves and a bit of tomato, probably because of delivery problems at the time of year. I resolved there and then not to deprive myself. I still made some wise choices but I tried to save syns so I could use them eating out. Other times I just went off plan. It takes longer but once at target it was a way of eating I could sustain long term.

    Wow tie 10 miles!!!

I think I've managed a EESP day today or close to it . I won't bother with an extra HEB in case I've got it wrong. I felt peckish this evening so I had another salad :chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, beetroot and cottage cheese (that is protein isn't it?).

This is the problem - I often make good choices when eating out and have steak, JP and salad. But quite often, if I've made a healthy choice, it comes out still being rubbish, or the veg will have been cooked using oil so it's scuppered anyway. I begrudge paying silly amounts for salad that would only cost pence to make at home. I don't mind paying for food out if it's something I love or things I wouldn't have at home but not for leaves!

The whole point of SW in my eyes is that you don't have to deprive yourself. I've had weeks, like this one, where I've eaten terribly and still managed to lose weight because I was on it around those bad days. I'm not in any hurry, I haven't set a final target as I started in November 2015 weighing in at 21 stone 1lb. I had no idea what was realistic! So far, I've lost 5 stone 9.5lb so I know it works! I've had my ups and downs (some great losses but also some stonking gains - 12lb after one of my holidays whoops!) so I know I can do it.

Yesterday I bought a size 16 dress. I started this journey at a size 26 so regardless of what the scales have been saying for the last 6 months of yo-yoing up and down over the same half a stone, there is definite progress. I'm really hoping that over the next 7 weeks, I can manage to get to my 6 stone award. I've got this weekend and a friend's wedding in Devon (cream teas ahoy!) plus a ladies' day at the races between now and the start of the summer holidays. But if I stick to plan around those times, I'm hoping I can do it.
