Morning folks
Things are busy but good here north o the wall...
The wee furry one is in season but is otherwise ok, think she is now on her way out of it now so should be running about daft off lead again soon.
Have been away camping most weekends thus far. The thunderstorms at weekend was the only call off so far.
Personal life is going very well (have met someone nice and we're getting on really well)
Have received notification from my Trustee that they have applied to the AIB for my sequestration discharge. In Scotland you can be discharged from your sequestration / bankruptcy after a year; you still have to pay your agreed contribution fee for the remaining 3 years though. This is the first big step forward in my sequestrationI am so glad that I got myself together and did this. The recent changes have made it so much easier to address this. To anyone who is facing the possibility of or considering sequestration, get independent FREE advice (from your local CAB advisor for example). I have found it to be less stressful than I thought it would be and my Trustee has been great. 3 years to go now
Apologies for not being so regular with my updates, lots going on, positive stuff
Will try and catch up with everyone soon.
Have a grand day, wherever you are and whatever you are doing.
As my new lady said to me, "You have to live, not just exist!"

... and another week has just zoomed past!
'noon folks
Things are goodish here North o The Wall.
Work remains bonkers busy.
Things are going well in "personal" life(will update later as things progress...)
The dug is in the bad books
She chewed / ate one of my walking / hiking boots
My fault in a way. I had cleaned them and then treated them with NIKWAX spray and left them out to air out... the furrybum got one of em and just totally obliterated it
Will need to get another pair when funds allow...
She knows she's been naughty and is staying in her own bed / basket giving that wee sad "Sorry Dad" face that Staffie's do sooo well.
Hoping to get back on this evening.
Have a grand day everyone.

sad face indeed for the walking boots, I remember one of ours eating OHs zamberlans years ago. he was a very unhappy man, says it takes years to break them in.My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

Thankfully, these aren't my expensive ones... but they were my favourites.
They were the pair that I used most often as they were the most comfortable and reliable in all weathers... British Military Surplus boots
So it's either approx. £40 on E-bay for another used pair OR £70 for a brand-spanking un-issued pair.
Actually tempted to go for the new ones... just keep them well away from gnasher...
An Uncle had a pair of ancient Brashers that he had for eons (think he just had em resoled when needed) and he said that he'd had em that long they were moulded to the shape of his feet and as comfy as a pair of slippers.
As any experienced walker knows, get your boots right before anything elseBUGGRITMILLENIUMHANDANDSHRIMP I TOLD EM! - Foul Ole Ron

Fab news you have found someone lovely!
oh dearto boots - definitely got to get those right, I will happily skimp on other things but boots and packs are worth every penny! Brand new hookup cable immediately chewed by a friend's pup here - she hasn't ever been that naughty before but it must have smelled like her toys when fresh out of the pack.
