It has been absolutely mental at work at the moment and I've just been mega busy...
Currently covering for two team members that are off ill, I may need to hire someone as it looks like both may be off long term and I cannot stretch myself to cover long term as I will burn out. Have meeting with my boss tomorrow to discuss the issues.
Just to be clear, I'm not dismissing my ill team members, they are very much valued and needed. We need to bring in extra staff anyway, as we are a growing business; my boss has already said that he agrees that our department needs to grow to keep pace with the growing demands.
I like to be busy but it's just hectic atm and when folks are so busy, they rush and that's when mistakes are most likely to happen...
Anyhoo, enough about work, it's good that we are busy and we have plans afoot to ensure we don't get swamped
This evening I am going to chill with my wee dug and chat with a friend

YAY TFI Friday
Meeting to discuss staffing and resources went very well and have been authorised to hire two new staff :j:j
Thankfully, one of my two ill team members is hoping to return on Monday, which will be a great help (as she is an awesome teamworker and makes me a lovely cuppa coffee whenever she does one for herself of course I do the same for her too...). This means that we should be able to maintain our current pace a little easier. I hope to be able to recruit my new team members in the next few weeks
Once we are back at full strength +2 we will hopefully be able to allow ourselves a little breathing space...
The weather is braw here north o the wall and I'm looking forward to enjoying the weekend
