Hiya Folks,
Popping in for an update...
The heating is still off, so far it remains mild for the time of year up here beyond the wall. I've even been out hiking and camping recently.
I'm at the age now where I will have access to my pension pot... I have a few small pot pensions as well as my main one.
Thinking of taking one of the small pots and shoving it into a high interest savings account and leaving the rest until I actually retire...
I will be doing my Christmas cake this weekendand possibly prepping for my mince pies as well. I'm looking forward to the holiday season, my family and friends will all be getting together at various points to share and enjoy the season.
Still reading, well into the Thursday Next series by Jasper Fforde, almost finished One of our Thursday's is missing.
Well, that's about it really. I'll be back with another update, when I have one
Stay safe everyone
Much love fae me n the Dug

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

Great to hear from you. I'm the same with my heating, it helps that it's still mild.
My new reading passion is the King's Watch series, can't remember the author's surname, he's Mark H, it'll come to me. Am on a very bumpy bus trying not to upchuck so shall say goodbye for now. Keep well.

Always good to hear from you. Good idea to pop one of the pension pots into a savings account while the interest rates are high. My heating is set to come on if the temperature drops below 18 degrees and so far it’s hardly been on. Hopefully we’ll get another mild winter 🤞I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

Sun_Addict, that's where mine is, and it's a tiny bungalow, so I hope that my extra layers of fleecy clothing will be enough. The cat spends a lot of time on my lap, which helps!1
