I've been with 8 legs for a couple of years now and have found them really good. They offer 'loyalty' fixed tariffs after a while with them too, so that might be a benefit further on.

The lass I spoke to said that they should be in contact within 5 days with quotes / details so fingers crossed!

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

Great idea to go to the 8 legged creature. Their customer service is fab.

So, all good in the hood

Was a busy weekend! The homebrew has been bottled and judging by the clarity of the brews, they should be ready to drink in two weeks time. So, by around the 5th June I'll have a good supply of ales available. Yes, it involves some work in the prepping and sterilising, cleaning of equipment, bottles and everything that will come into contact with the brew. A couple of hours prior to brewing and same again when ready to bottle. However, the results cost roughly 40p a pint... and it tastes grand
Still waiting to hear from the 8 legged energy provider. I sent them a wee e-mail asking for an update but I imagine they're probably busy with a lot of folks looking to switch to them... I'll update as soon as I hear anything.
Still reading my way through The Long Earth Series and I'm almost finished The Long Mars. Once I've read through The Long Earth series I'll be re-reading Jasper Ffordes' Thursday Next Series.
Righto, need to get back to work...
Hope awbiddy is grand

I may never forgive you for putting the Rivers of London in my way - everything else has been ignored while I plough my way through. Thank you 😊 Mr Aarronovitch shares his birthday with me, although he's rather younger. Us Pisces people must stick together ♋ Enjoy your brew!
I'm glad that you're enjoying The Rivers of London series I'm already looking forward to the next installment, which may be a Nightingale one or it may be one from Agent Reynolds, as Ben had mentioned these were possibilities. I really enjoyed his "What Abigail did that summer" side story, which takes place during the events of "Foxglove Summer", so a couple of side stories to keep us all happy while he works on the next main series story would be nice
I've not tried making wine, although I have a couple of friends who do, I prefer my Ales TBH but I do like an occassional glass (or two) of a nice red...

I've received my quote from the 8 legged provider... and it's about £50 a year cheaper than my current provider. So, I'm switching
Currently communicating back and forth with one of their lovely customer service folks, who has been brilliant.
As I am currently PAYG, I'll need to top up at the Post Office for about 3 months or so and then, hopefully, I can be switched over to a Monthly DD Tariff :fingerscrossed:
Will post more of an update once I have more details etc.
Have a grand day awbiddy
