Totally agree fewkeste. However at an additional cost of 119.79 I don't think I'll be switching. For gas a high standing charge is a major factor as I don't use much gas for half the year

    GAS
The quote they gave me with PFP Energy for Gas is:
     £1,012.36 (£0.03129 per kWh & £0,2018 per day) for 30,000 kWh PA
My current tariff  with British Gas is:
    £677.64 (£0.01995 per kWh & £0.216 per day) for 30,000 kWh PA
An increase of £334.71 (67% increase).

    ELECTRICITY
The quote the gave me with PFP Energy for Leccy is:
     £1,422.21 (£0.1123795 per kWh & £0,2018 per day) for 12,000 kWh PA
My current tariff  with Eon is:
    £1,603.80 (£0.1268 per kWh & £0.2252 per day) for 12,000 kWh PA
    A SAVING of £181.59!

SO what do we know of PFP Energy?.

Did anyone get to read the full post from Sean of Flux Federation before it was deleted? He wrote that they were the software supplier for Powershops all over the world. Anyone know what he said and why his post was deleted?

Yes, it asked for feedback from anyone who had used their services but it could have been considered to be spam.

Yes, I saved a copy. Don't know why it was deleted but can guess.
As the Flux Federation/Flux appears to be genuine, I am following up.

When you say 'used their services' do you mean used the Powershop website and/or app or something else

Sean did not say "used their services". He asked about "experience interacting with our product".

I switched to PFP energy from Powershop in March for both Electricity and Gas. They seem OK though there were problems with E7 readings which meant I have been double billed and is still not resolved. Powershop have not yet refunded my credit balance either so make sure you don’t leave with a big balance.

You might qualify for some compensation then. Check out the Symbio thread to get an idea of deadlines for getting credit returned and issuing of final bills. If they fail to pay the compensation you are due (£30 I think) within a set time, you qualify for more compensation - another £30.

Good point. I’ll look into it. I have complained about double billing so they might argue I haven’t had a Final final bill yet.
I’ve  just switched electricity again to Octopus ( still with PFP for gas ) as the nearest thing I can find to Powershop are the Go, Agile, or Tracker tariffs that Octopus do. Go for example is 15.33p per kw with 4hrs at 5p at night fixed for a year ( with 25p daily charge ). There’s £50 sign on bonus if someone recommends you as well.
