We had our long weekend away. It was good in parts and not so much in others. A lot less was spent than expected but equally we didn’t manage to source what was needed. Came back and went straight into frantic work mode and it’s pretty much stayed that way. That said, my mood has been particularly low. Didn’t manage the meal with dc as I felt seriously unwell, the sale of my mum’s house completed on mon, her anniversary mass is Saturday then the actual anniversary is next week. Right now, I’m just not feeling the Christmas spirit. I’ve also completely lost track of how things stand workwise, homewise and present wise. Still I could spend all day wallowing and getting less done and that’d make me feel even worse at the end of the day. Really need to try and face the world.

Thank you everyone. Isn’t it weird how much easier it is to post on line than have an actual real life discussion. Yesterday morning was a bit productive but the afternoon I went to bed with a book. I’ll get done what’s needed over the weekend as I need to work part of the weekend anyway. The one thing that’s set in stone however is that I’m meeting my friend for coffee tomorrow. It’s been a few weeks, last time was when I pranged the car. I’m afraid that if I don’t do it, I won’t manage it in the future.Today I need to try and find a child’s coat in a different size and ideally get it in the post. Fingers crossed for that.Today I am grateful for

Thank you. Well yesterday I got the coat and returned the original purchase for a refund as I had £5 off a £50 spend of which the coat was £22. Of course my total bill after discount and voucher was £52 but not too far off target. It will probably cost as much to post tomorrow. Today was a conversation with mr wii, the first in a fortnight. I’m happy to report a 5lb loss. I know some will be due to not feeling great over the past week or so but it gives me a reasonable buffer between where I am and the next stone up. Today needs to be a busy one. I’m just about to head to the cash and carry hopefully for the last pre Christmas trip. I’m still not feeling seasonal vibes at all. There’s still work to be done and hopefully a trip to the charity shop with a second batch into the boot for drop off tomorrow.Today I am grateful for
the anniversary mass passing off as well as could be expected
