Well, yesterday’s gone. It had a few blips but it’s now a case of onwards and upwards. Very little productive was done but dinner was from freezer clearing three open bags. Plus we avoided the dangerous takeaway. Today laundry needs done and dh is a bit sniffly. The downside of his mainly working from home is that he struggles on when, if he were in the office, he may have taken time out to recover.
this afternoon I have a contract management meeting that I requested out of necessity but am not looking forward to. It is what it is.
today I am grateful for

You can only ever take a step at a time and each one is what it is. Yesterday's steps are behind you and if today's are uphill, at least it's still onwards.
Clearing three open bags from the freezer is pretty good, by the way.

Glad you got through the anniversary ok.
Meetings with a Christmas dinner are good! Hope today's wasn't too bad."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee3 -
The meeting was a complete waste of time. It now requires a decision as to how/ if I pursue it. On the way home, I nipped to Lidl and found the cheap Christmas veg has started so picked some up. Dinner was a planned takeaway while lunch came from fridge and store cupboard. Was contacted and asked to consider a new opportunity. I can’t do it while accommodating current commitments but it was nice to be asked. Today I need to play catch up while waiting for a few calls to be returned. Ideally I’d like a non working weekend.

First off, the bad news. Mr Wii advised that I am up two pounds. After such a big loss last week, I’m not overly surprised. I think I am probably somewhere in the range my weight has settled.Yesterday I went in search of Christmas spirit. We went to town, dh bought us breakfast then to the Saturday market. Jams and chutneys were purchased. We headed to the Christmas market to find some regulars missing and an increase in food stalls. Made it back to the car before the ticket expired which is always good.In the afternoon we dug a few items from the garage and took to a furniture charity shop. They rejected one as, despite it being solid, it would need painted. We also called to Lidl and the Christmas shloer has now been bought along with bread and milk. The rest of the day was binge watching hijack which was great. Food was thrown together from fridge. I also managed to order a surprise present for dh paid for by sb / pa money squirrelled away in PayPal. Just hope I’m in to get the delivery.

I’m not sure that pairing six pairs of socks counts as being productive but, if it does, I’ll take it. Apart from that and issuing a few emails, nothing was done. I believe that I am fundamentally lazy and wish I could give myself a good shake. Today needs to be less of that.Today I am grateful for

Six matched pairs vs 12 loose.
future time saving x6

I'm sure if you were fundamentally lazy, you wouldn't be successfully self-employed. Is there a voice from your past criticising you for not getting as much done as the voice wanted, despite your best efforts?
