thank you all for the encouragement. It really is appreciated. Cherry I think the casualty episode hit home because it was an mnd sufferer and it was an illness that killed a close relative.Went for coffee and got an invite to a night out next Saturday. It’ll be the first time I’ve socialised in someone’s house, bar family, since covid and I will only know two people. I’m nervous.
did the grocery shopping. Went to the sparks shop first but they’d sold out of what I was after. I still managed some yellow stickers and some items discounted due to sparks. I then finished off at Tesco where my list was completed bar tinfoil as seasonal items have rejigged the store. While on my hunt, I did find a needed ironing board with clubcard price taking it down by half. By the time I’d three quarter filled the car, close to £170 had been spent. I did pick up some store cupboard stables but no meat, fish or frozen items. I also resisted the Christmas stuff that’s creeping in.Busy day today with lunchtime solicitor meeting among other things. Best get motoring.

Oh that’s not good! Did they say why? It’s not as though you’ve got nothing else to do, you must have planned carefully to ensure that time was available.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

That’s so frustrating😔 sorry to hear that"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2

Apparently the designated person wasn’t available. It is what it is. I’m booked in next Thursday I think.Yesterday I had an early start to be at a client meeting for 8.30. I got there at 8.15 and they arrived at 8.45. I travelled 20 miles and they were within 5 miles. Not a good start. Still, I was back home for 2 having called to ikea en route to buy two things that I need for Christmas presents. I also had a tub of meatballs for lunch.Work is stacking up once again so today I’m hitting it hard but will take lunch to help my sister with the school run.Glad to have made it to Wednesday as continue to feel so tired. Must call gp today and see if I can get a b12 test.

I hope work goes well. Good idea to take a break and do the school run, a bit of variety probably gives your brain a break, ready for the afternoon.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
