  • Glad to read that there was no drool!  Not a good look when training.....😆
I'm sorry about the news of your relative though.  I hope things aren't as bad as you fear.

Well done for braving the dentist! Even better that it's relatively cheap. Not the case over here... :(

I hope things work out for your relative.  You are quite right to take time out before picking yourself up and carrying on, sometimes wallowing time is important, the trick is to stop at the right point. Not that I could define that 'right point', I suppose we know it when we reach it.

  • Thanks everyone. Positive vibes are the only way to go. It’ll probably be a month before more is known.  Yesterday I got a few pieces of work underway which is good.  We then went to an outdoor concert last night.  We were undecided until an hour before as the weather had been miserable but we stayed dry. Mucky but dry.  Can someone please remind me that my aching limbs are too old for standing only concerts if I ever mention tickets again?

today I was due to meet 4 family members to progress an outstanding matter but one is unwell and I’m thankful for that.  It is deferred to next Saturday.

Today I need a plan of action for both work and for my house.  It’s a complete mess with so much at the half done stage.  I feel so tired it’s ridiculous.  Need to move.

    today I am grateful for
    a win on the pb
    a great concert

    Glad you had a break.
A relief the tooth was easily enough fixed and wasn't too expensive. I have a NHS dentist too and I am holding onto them with both hands...

  • Just updated my signature to reflect my weight gain.  I have identified a new target for Halloween.  If i hit 12.5% of pb target by then, I will be an eighth of the way towards my aim.  Love percentages and fractions

Percentages and fractions aren't my strong point but I can see they are powerful.

2lbs gain is disheartening but it sounds as though you have the causes identified and it won't take you  long to be rid of it again. The most important thing is good bloods readings and taking care of yourself. I read once that we should treat ourselves like a small child - take naps, feed nutritiously, speak kindly, take trouble to understand what's affecting you and maybe isn't being put into words...

I'm keen on nutrition but not at all qualified - a quick google showed stuff about absorbing B12 that was quite interesting. Certainly worth asking the GP, especially if you take PPIs.

Stable blood sugars are always good.  Hope you can sort the tiredness out.
