thank you, it came at a cost. According to mr wii I gained 1 lb but have actually moved up 2. I need to address this. I have stress eaten my way through a heavy for me work week. The worst is that there has been little to no nutritional value.I have caught up with one client completely and things are progressing well with others. If I do a full day tomorrow, that should be enough to get me on track with maybe a day off towards the end of the week. Even for the things that need doing, I have a kind of plan so that’s good.On other news, little has been happening. I’m still being left hanging by the nightmare ex client and have supported a former colleague through some issues. My house is a mess, we need groceries, the weather is dire and we had to turn the heat on one evening as this old house can easily start to feel damp. DD will be back in 7 weeks and there are things that need done before that. A friend may have sourced a painter for me after we were let down by someone else. This should mean that the carpet bought in May can be laid.Decluttering has also halted as has work on my office. I just need to kick start my life. Right, I’m off to eat some breakfast.my coffee drinking friend is back from holiday so we are meeting up this afternoon. I will be forced to change from PJs!Today I am grateful for

Hope you enjoyed your coffee! You've been working so hard, you've more than earned time out with a friend. The house will wait - or get one room nice if that helps.

So, the plan for today is prep for tomorrow’s full day on site. Does having decanted the quality st into a ziplock bag count as having started? It’s our recycling day so doing that meant the containers went out last night. I use these to provide a pick me up for the last session of the day.I need to get one list of requirements to a client plus issue some documents to a third for whom I also need to work on a few more. I’m also braced for the client whose work went over the weekend, to respond.Yesterday’s coffee and catch up was good but we had to change location. Last time our usual coffee shop could only supply disposable cups as the dishwasher was broken. Yesterday it was accepting cash only and could not provide any non coffee hot drinks. I think its days are numbered. We went to a nearby in store coffee shop and were pleasantly surprised. Better service, cheaper and good range.Need to be on the road at 7.30 tomorrow so would like an earlyish finish today.Today I am grateful for
a catch up

Yay for a work-free Sunday, better weather and coffee! Shame about the original coffee shop, it does sound as though they are having problems. The rest sounds good, though.
I had better not point out that finishing the Quality Streets also declutters something...

An evaporating but, for once, fairly productive week. One client job successfully put to bed, I just need to invoice. Yesterday a friend was here for lunch. I went to a bakery to pick up some of her favourites. It’s somewhere I used to be at least once a fortnight but hadn’t been for a while. I won’t be hurrying back as prices have skyrocketed. It’ll definitely fall into the occasional treat category. We had a good catch up which was nice. Things are going well for her apart from problems trying to buy a house. I’ve posted on dfw to see if someone can enlighten me about defaults.Tomorrow I have diabetic retinopathy review and I can’t drive for a few hours. I’ve decided to give myself a day off so am keen to get things progressed today. I think my response to the meds is starting to settle down. I’ve just administered my weekly dose so am hopeful that will be sustained.Really need to get moving if I’m going to manage my day off. I’m expecting some stuff to come through tomorrow so Monday may not be a bank holiday for me.
