Hi DIA, good to see you back. Re the Greek yogurt, it’s dh who eats it. I’m not a yogurt fan at all. He tends to use a mix of two muesli along with some berries. These are currently raspberries as we have access to these foc. Next month, it may be blackberries. He prefers fresh to frozen so winter may be shredded apples.Yesterday was a completely unproductive day, neither shopping nor banking done and very little else. I did issue an invoice and received a payment from a client. I discarded some bits and pieces from a drawer that was cleared out last weekend. I am seriously thinking of sourcing office space 2 days a week in an attempt to give me focus. Alternatively I could spend less by paying car parking and using our main library (aka exterior of police hq in line of duty)Next week I have a few client meetings booked in along with a phone consultation with a diabetic consultant. I have a Monday deadline for completion of a task relating to the nightmare ex client which, I believe, has been the cause of some sleep disruption. This task will bring me some steps closer to full closure.Right, gonna take some flylady advice and get dressed to shoes. That at least delays the crawl back under the covers when the slump hits. Today I have to hit Lidl and also want to drop stuff off to the charity shop as my get rid stats are way down this week though I have made it to halfway through the annual target.Today I am grateful for
sufficient in house supplies that we can reschedule shopping

I'm going to take the liberty of questioning your choice of words.
Completely unproductive? But you got things done, progress was made! You've decluttered an invoice and some bits from the drawer - both out of the way and never need to be done again.
I like Flylady ideas - getting dressed to the shoes is definitely a useful one.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

I really do talk a good tale. Yet another day passed where shoes did not feature though some ex client work was progressed. dh also progressed some for a current client. We had our nibbley dinner from the freezer. This included some chicken goujons made by dh - there are quite a few left plus another two large defrosted chicken breast fillets to be used. A small wash was done that nearly dried despite the showers and two more items were decluttered. Most importantly, I finally spilled my guts to dh about how things are in my head. Paralysis by analysis underpinned by lashings of guilt over everything from childhood memories to having put a tin in general waste. I’m not sure what outcome, if any, there will be from the discussion. He was lovely but ….
today I have agreed to meet a friend for coffee and I don’t want to let her down. This means shopping will be done as will the charity shop drop off. Work stuff will continue to be progressed in advance of a deadline and young sheldon will be watched.Today I am grateful for
being able to offload without being overly judged.

Turned out it was better to offload than I imagined. When things were crowding in, dh just told me what to do that I had time for and in what order. Unfortunately as I hadn’t mentioned that I was going to the charity shop, that didn’t factor so my stuff remains downstairs and my friend’s stuff is in the car. It’ll get there.
yesterday I met my friend and her sister for coffee which was nice. My friend paid which was also nice. I then went to the sparks shop, spent just over£3 and redeemed a sparks treat that was for a surprisingly large bar of chocolate. I came home via leedl and picked up some salad stuff, veg, etc.
we had 2 small power outages yesterday, both less than 5 mins but it derailed some of the uploads I was doing (while setting off every neighbourhood alarm). There’s still a lot to get through to hit today’s deadline but it is what it is. I’m determined to see the back of it today. It’ll be such a relief.Need to get a wiggle on. Today I am grateful for

It's amazing how some people - like your DH - can see what to prioritise! I often can't see the wood for the trees.
I remember when DS2 was about 12 and I was staring at something wondering where to begin to sort it out, and he advised me to 'do one thing, then another thing'. Being the sort of person who thinks a 'to do' list naturally takes an entire piece of paper, that advice has stuck with me.
You have high standards... I wonder if it's the time frame that's creating pressure? The charity shop will still be there in a day or two and at least the stuff is bagged up and ready to go. As you say, you'll get there.
I hope the power supply hold today and you can get the work out of the way. There will be a mighty cheer from your readers when That Client is finally gone!I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Glad you managed to unload……I’ve been listening to some tapes and at first I didn’t think they’d worked…..but little by little I’m noticing I’m doing just what the tapes suggest😁 I think I expected instant change but it takes time to let go of ‘baggage’ 👍January spends - £587.585

So, stage one of ridding myself of that client is 90% complete. The other ten percent requires their input. Due to some technical issues, it was half past nine before it was finished but it has gone. I know they won’t be happy but that’s their problem. I’m feeling relieved.
some other good news today is that the cash requested last week hit my bank account overnight so that will go into this month’s pb purchase. Dh’s should follow later this week. We will hit that ten percent target.
today I have a client meeting close to the charity shop. You were right Cherry, stuff will get there. I just don’t like holding onto other people’s donations. Yesterday was a nsd though I was tempted by a £5 £co bonus. This would have been to buy an item costing £135 that I’m not sure if it’s a need, a useful want or just a want. There will be other offers.Right, need to get work dressed, have to figure out what to wear. I am in desperate need of trousers. I have one slightly too big pair that I still wear but recently caught sight of myself in a mirror. They need to go.
