Sorry to hear about your SWidows issues INOD. I listened to a radio programme about them a while back and there were numerous complaints about customer service and people not getting access to their money etc. Sounds like they have really gone downhill. Hope you are able to progress your complaint with them.3

That's dreadful service. I hope you get some satisfaction - and hopefully some compensation too.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

My SW pot isn’t covering itself in glory but few are. I’ll be moving solely because I can’t trust them to deal with my funds correctly. Two of the three who received the second complaint have read it - no response and still no letter through the post with a complaint reference.
on other news, I cleared the necessary work items and made some inroads to the kitchen. There is some space appearing in the freezer.I was on the verge of opening a Terry’s chocolate orange when I found another. I checked the dates and they are both 2024 so I put them away for stockings. I also started my Christmas list which would typically be left until September but I picked up a few things for both dc so it’s good to have it organised. There’s little major but when large bars of favourite chocolate was on clubcard price, it was purchased.Looks like I’m not the only one starting early as when in the supermarket during the week, I saw the big tubs of sweets on offer. This works well for me as I’m delivering in person training in a few weeks and always bring sugar to help the graveyard session along.
today groceries are required, I’m thinking of a cash and carry run as cc spends are low this month so I could stock up on paper products, cleaning supplies etc that would cover the next 3 to 6 months. One of the first items we put on vinted finally sold so that needs to go. We are creeping closer to the ten percent.Today I am grateful for
a vinted sale

Well done on the sales too.

Good to hear that nightmare client is nearly gone! Hope you can finally wave them off soon.
Tea at the Savoy sounds lovely.
Sorry about the pensions issues, I've heard poor things about SW as well. I bookmarked a pension scheme that was recommended on the pensions board a couple of weeks ago as a good one - I haven't looked into it at all or opened one, so I don't really know anything about it, but if of interest it was this one: https://www.vanguardinvestor.co.uk/what-we-offer/personal-pension/personal-pension-account
