So pleased you have been paid! I also think that deeds are largely electronic now, so paper ones are not needed if everything is online (best confirm that though, the property boards on here might be helpful). Lovely to have though, so get that fireproof storage."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Thanks everyone. DIA, the gratitude thing is to remind me to count my blessings and to look beyond the mainly first world problems that I have. I find it so easy to spiral downwards and forcing myself to come up with positives, no matter how small, can keep things in check even a bit.
today I had my weekly conversation with mr wii in advance of tomorrow’s birthday and am so happy to report I’m in the elevens. It’s been such a long time since that happened and I’m even prepared for it not to be a constant but I can cope with hovering around this weight. If it hits 4 lbs below a stone then I’m hopeful of hitting a half stone. So what else has been happening. Very little, I had my telephone review with my gp. I have, I believe, issued all invoices for the year and I had blood tests. My b12 still isn’t sorted so I’m now being tested for pernicious anaemia. I went for a walk along the shore with dh one evening last week and we were both like drowned rats and I emailed two friends who have reached out at various times but who I had mostly ignored until now. Maybe the pills are starting to have an impact, who knows.
moneywise, I have a budget for next year which is achievable with one recurrent fee with any other income being a bonus. This, of course, relies on dh’s monthly income remaining constant. We currently have no set money aims but I am going to speak to an ifa I know once dh gets a pension pot value from a previous employer. While I intend to share money from my mum with my two, I spoke to dd over the week and she currently has no need of it, while reminding me of her need for Easter eggs. DS is in the final few months of his degree and doesn’t need any distractions so I will have a conversation with him once that’s out of the way. He may prefer that it goes against the money we loaned that cleared his student loans.I have 2 on site days with clients this week that includes a trip to Dublin. There may be another client day too. I need to pick things up with the solicitor and chase up some bits and pieces. I also need to give the house some attention. Hopefully the weather will improve and the rest of the roof work can get done. Right, need to get hoovering under the sofa cushions before getting showered etc to meet a friend for coffee.
today I am grateful for
those friends who hang in there, despite my anti social tendencies

Fantastic that you've got into the elevenses! Sending a virtual pat on the back.
Passing a milestone is a great boost. I need to turn my weight round so I'm encouraged by your progress.
Also great that you've reached out to friends, I suspect it's an indication that the pills are working as you say. In fact, I see lots of little lights coming on, if I may put it that way. It won't happen overnight but I think you are on the ascendant again.
I hope your week goes well.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Happy belated birthday to you.
I'm pleased you managed to reach out to friends. It’s times like you’ve been having that you realise who the real friends are. They’re the keepers 👍
The mortgage free thing will slowly sink in. Got to admit I found it a bit of an anti climax as I’d built it up in my head and didn’t quite know what my next mission would be.
Can’t believe the nightmare client paid up. I’m not surprised you got it straight in the bank.
Hang on in there…..a day or an hour at a time. Things will get easier 👍January spends - £587.585 -
