Times like these are showing you have friends.

I've just caught up with you inod and I hope your sciatica has eased off. Ouch....☹️
I was so sorry to read about your dog. You must have all been gutted. It's funny - over the years I've been reading your diary you often wrote about her and I feel I could always see her in my mind's eye. She had a good innings though and a wonderful doggie life with those who loved her.One thing I was pleased to read though was that you'd dropped the nightmare client. It's rather galling how they've been treating you since you went after all that you've done for them over the years but at least you've got away from their rather vampiric bloodsucking. I hope having been warned by your solicitor they will settle up finally. And yes you are so right about having that emergency fund!!!Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

I'm glad you've got the solicitor and hope they get results.
Nice that you've had the chance to catch up with old friends too."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2 -

So glad you've moved on from the nightmare client and that a supportive friend is helping you deal with them now. The loss of your dog on top of everything else must be really tough. I agree with everyone else who's been encouraging you to go easy on yourself. You've done so well; with the mortgage, the emergency fund being there when you needed it, coping with the loss of your mum and clearing her house, sorting out your finances for the coming months and then the death of your furry 4 legged friend.CCs @0% £24k Dec 05 £19,621.41 Au £13400 S 12600 Oct £11,981 £9481 £7500 Nov £7250 D £7100 Jan 6950 F £5800 Mar£5400 May £4830 June £4660 July £4460 Aug £3200, S £900, £0 18/9/07 DFW Nerd 0425
