Yesterday did not go to plan. DH was sniffley so was despatched to bed with some over the counter meds. To keep the furry one occupied, I did the ironing with the back door open so she could get outside. Happily there was no rain and she does love being outdoors. Everything bar one bar of trousers that I struggle with is cleared.
DH got up and tackled one of the jobs which was great as the packaging was then despatched to today’s recycling collection. Two more remain outstanding and I got one started.
We passed up on our meal instead eating from stores though I must confess to a dinner from a cereal packet. It was what I wanted. DH had home made french onion soup from the freezer with cheese on toast. He seems a lot better today.
Last night we sorted out and balanced out presents for the offspring. Apparently they don’t mind an imbalance but I do!
Right, need to get to the client early as we have inspection at 9.30. Hopefully everyone’s week will get off to a good start.
Today I am grateful for
Being able to put the press away for at least a week

The week has completely evaporated but at the nightmare client, one major matter has been finally put to bed. I’m so so relieved. Not only is it sorted but it means I avoid a court appearance.
I managed to catch lunch with a friend yesterday while running between two clients. We went to a social enterprise cafe that was really good and good value too.
I really need a better focus on friendships. Anyhow, need to head and pick up donations from a preschool for my client. It’s amazing how generous people are.
Today I am grateful for
Unexpected contact from a friend
Generous donations
