Positives all round apart from the flights, and I'm sure your Dh will find an alternative!
It's great about you and the consultant getting a plan together. You did amazingly on the bs diet, is this along the same lines?I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Yesterday I didn’t even get as far as making a list. It seems like we spent pretty much the full day discussing holiday options. I only left the house to get a takeaway that we sat outside and ate at my new £20 table and chairs. Cost per use currently £20. I did get a few things cleared away and today I will start things off by paying myself August expenses and pay. This means that two bank files can be put away. After that, I will make a list. Things to get done include laundry, baking, sorting the freezer, report for a client, email to another client plus a list for the coming week.
Tomorrow my cleaning service is here so I’m ignoring dusting, hoovering etc that needs done.
My plan will be very much around the blood sugar diet and I have clear check points to be achieved. I now know I can do this. My conversation with mr wii this morning showed no change. This is a relief. It also means that I’m still 15 lbs down from where I started bsd last time. Even if I only lose half a stone, I would be comfortably out of obese and in a stone that I haven’t seen in 20 years. Sometimes I get so annoyed that I denied myself so many experiences by being overweight from my early 20s. The good old woulda, coulda, shoulda.
On mse news, I won another 20p yesterday and am due a refund on tickets where the date of the event was moved. I need to update my sig to reflect an extra £60 to the offset fund and to show this month’s mortgage payment. The end of September will bring this quarter’s mortgage interest charge. I would love to start next quarter in the 65s after the interest charge. Number crunching is definitely required.
I got an email from sainsbugs about their countdown to Christmas and it gave me an extra 200 nectar points to be awarded in the next 4 weeks. Last year, I got roughly £5 through this scheme so am pleased that it’s running again.
I am also owed money, since April, from my failed attempt to open a post office account. They still have not refunded this. There had also better be some compensation. Given that I know this money has to come back to me and also that dd is supposed to start repaying her loan from us at the end of September, I might just wing the money to the mortgage even though dd’s Repayment is, strictly speaking, owed to the emergency fund.
Decisions, decisions.

Cost per use of furniture is now down to £10. The added bonus is that the furry one loves to be outdoors so she gets a run about while I drink my tea. It is also a lot more accessible than the main garden chairs as it fits in the ex boiler house that was recently made weather proof as part of the building work.
So far it’s been a busy week. On Sunday I paid myself from the business and also paid my insurance for the year. I also spent a few hours in the garden where I tidied up some pots and got plants into the ground. Some weeding was done and some more shrubs and bushes cut back.
I have also been doing client work. I did a small top up shop yesterday that camin at £13. This includes bread and milk basics plus enough stuff for dh to get lunch for the rest of this week.
I’m not sure why but I’ve had a few disturbed nights. I feel so tired and nothing holiday wise has been sorted as yet. I need to get the money refunded.
