I think that we can all claim to have skills in the whinging department, I certainly can :rotfl: but it's your diary and you can whinge if you want to. We'll still want to read your diary and support you
. It's a nice change from Facebook where everyone pretends to have a perfect life .

My diary is a bit of a whingefest too
I agree with HHD, it's better than reading about all the 'perfect' lives on FB. It helps to know others are going through the same things, or learning about challenges that others have to deal with.

Yesterday I had to be at a client for 8.15. I got through with them early and was able to fit in another client site visit, picking up some groceries and a quick run for the dog before a three o’clock meeting. This was with a former client who is kindly helping with one of my final tasks for that client. Some people and organisations are so nice.
Wednesday another complaint was received against me at that client. This related to an action taken by the manager who has confirmed this but assumed to have been by me because I am apparently the route of all evil. In a way it was good to have something in writing that I could work through and actually provide an evidence based defence. What I have asked is that the trustees determine who advised the staff member that I was behind this.
On other news, I have noticed since starting this diet, how hard it is to pick up healthy whoopsied items. I do admit to some purchases just to make food a wee bit more interesting but given that there are no biscuits, crisps, chocolate bars, Saturday night buns or peanut m and ms, I’m surprised at the cost. That said, all meals are coming from the kitchen along with the bottles of sparkling water dh prefers. I buy these in multi packs of 2 l bottles as it’s a lot cheaper than buying small bottles and I drive them home.
DD gets home this evening weather permitting. This is for a rugby watching st Patrick’s day weekend combined with necessary blood tests on Tuesday. The 4 legged one will probably sing and dance with excitement.

Like the others say, whinge as much as you want. It's what we're all here for to try and support and advise. And I agree with jwil that you always write such upbeat positives at the end of your posts. They always make me stop and wish I'd thought of them.
I hope you get the complaint resolved soon and I'm sure you will - you are always so fair and professional I can't fathom why somebody would complain. It sounds like they're the ones with the real whinge problem!
Blood sugars all looking good and it'll be wonderful to have DD back. I'd love to see the dogs reaction when she arrives!:)Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

So dd is home and food stocks are being depleted. For a change, her father actually picked her up from the airport. She came in, sniffed out the pork and black pudding sausage rolls I had acquired for her and ate one cold while waiting for the other to heat. She then continued munching while we watched on of the many tivoed shows for joint viewing. For anyone who watches Derry Girls, she delighted in telling me that she shared with her workmates, that I too have a Christmas cupboard that is stocked early on and contains tunnocks.
Yesterday I got confirmation from a client that they are happy to pay an invoice that I had overlooked the issue of by mistake. It’s only for one day but it all helps as it’s more than half of what I pay myself each month. This is a bank holiday weekend here and I want 2 clients to return to stuff in their in trays from me.
There is also house stuff to get done and lots of rugby.
Today I am grateful for
DD’s safe travels
A slightly weird but still in range bs reading

Weekly conversation with mr wii and he advised that I am down 2lbs but the number just reduced by 1 so that’s what’s in my updated sig. BS only just within normal and I cannot understand why though I did move less than I would on w working day.
I needed a repeat prescription for some meds and asked the gp to prescribe a half strength dose of a diabetic tablet. This was on my consultant’s advice which he had a copy of. He refused. I am annoyed as this is the tablet that an bring on hypos. While I’m generally fairly inclined towards laziness, this has made me nervous of any activity outside of home. This week we will definitely get the exercise thing into ds’s room where it’ll be accessible. This will be after dd goes home on Tuesday evening as she does tend to spread herself around the house.
On other news, I finally caught up with my work expenses and paid myself my considerably less than minimum wage pay for February so the personal account is looking a bit healthier today. The amount transferred will be more than covered by money expected in this week which is good. It’s ridiculous how protective I’ve become of the non interest earning balance in my business account.
Other than admin, work stuff remains untouched this weekend and no grocery shopping was done bar a corner shop purchase of milk. While I’ve noticed a sharp increase in grocery costs, I’m not spending much else at present which is good.
Today I am grateful for
A good night’s sleep
Catching up on tv viewing

Annoying that your gp wouldn't take the advice of your consultant. Well done on the weight loss

Yes, you must be rather annoyed with your doctor. As the consultant is the expert here you would think that this advice would be adhered to.
Well done with the weight and BS though!:j
Hope you've been relaxing with DD and OH.
