Keep the positivity flowing, not just for the interview but also we finally started the bsd today. Breakfast has been had, so weird to have eggs without bread. I checked my sugar levels, really high and my weight is up by 2 lbs to 14st 7lbs. Action is needed not least because I need to be able to fit back into my second pair of blue jeans before my first pair, purchased in 2010, finally give up the ghost! I must confess however that I will be continuing to drink tea though am switching to skimmed milk rather than semi skimmed. Tea is something that I take to help stave off the munchies. Maybe over time I will wean myself off but not yet.
We have worked through the diet plan and the recipe book and have identified possible meals. The big struggle will be lunches but this is only 56 days out of my life. I’ve spent very close to that so far this year prevaricating about this eating plan. I met my friend, who had such a fight with cancer, on Friday for lunch. She finished her 1 year and 11 months of surgeries and treatments two weeks ago. Her mantra is “life’s too short”. She is so right.
Life is too short to worry about the consequences of a condition when I can actually influence those consequences.
Life’s too short to feel constantly tired.
Life’s too short to miss out on things because I don’t want attention drawn to me because I’m convinced that all people see is fat.
Life’s too short to not wear the clothes I want to wear.
Life’s too short to waste money on food that damages me when it could be better used elsewhere.
I do not like this eating plan but I do not like how I am currently living my life either. I am going to try to allocate a task or treat to each day of this programme. The aim will be to improve my surroundings, financial position, etc. while improving me. I’m taking inspiration from DIA and hoping that a double incentive will help keep things on track. Today I will get the car cleaned. I hate taking the car to the car wash. I also hate a filthy car. Today dh will be coming shopping with me to get food needed for the next few days so he can endure the car wash with me.
Today I am grateful for
Access to food choices denied to so many
Drawing a line in the sand. I accept that this could be washed away but it can always be redrawn

Good luck with the eating plan INOD
.
You're right that life is too short for feeling unhealthy and for not being the best possible version of yourself that you can be. I would stick with the tea as it does help with the munchies and you need some treats. It's a good idea to do something to make you feel positive each day. Having a clean car will make you feel better today.

I’m feeling rough but not as bad as yesterday when I really struggled to lift my head off the pillow. My tummy and head were so bad and I was on site with an ad hoc client who I didn’t feel I could cancel. Not my finest hour but I got through it. Will need a lot of follow up to get that piece of work over the line.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes.
