Bought one of these yesterday and installed it today.

No problems with the sun visors in my Citroen C1.

I've not seen anyone else mention this but you can rotate the front facing camera further to the left or right if it is not picking up the area you want.

Been out for a drive and everything seems to work fine, however the mirror is vibrating alot. What have you guys done to reduce the vibrating? I'm thinking abit of Blu Tac stuck between the two mirrors.

My original mirror is so thick I had to use cable ties to extend the rubber gripper things that secure it to the mirror so no room for any vibration. Some of those little self adhesive silicone buffers might help

    I'm not getting any vibration.

Maybe try some thin foam sheeting, such as a bit of laminate floor underlay.

How do I get the camera to automatically record over old recordings? After about two hours it says card full and I have to format the card.

I have it set to 5 minute recording time.

I don't have that particular camera but from past experience of others there was a setting for "loop recording" or continuous. However, loop was always the default. Quote below from the manual, directly after the duration setting. Did you close the settings menu after selecting the 5 minute clip time?

"If you choose close, card will not be covered with automatic cycle"

I did a 4 hour drive on Friday, a few shorter drives over the weekend and finally a 2 and a half hour drive home yesterday.

When I got home and switched the ignition off the camera screen showed card full.

I checked the card on my laptop and the files contained a few recordings from the middle of my drive on Friday, none from Saturday, a few from Sunday and half my drive home yesterday.

Any idea why it's not recording everything?

Could it be the stop start function on my car or am I doing something wrong?

  • It could be the G sensor.

    Try turning it off.

I'm using two separate cameras. :)
