Cold here to-day, LR is warmer, but I am sitting here with a throw around me so will have to do something to warm this room up if I am going to use it all winter...used to be a lovely cosy little room, need to get all four usable chimneys swept too....yeah I'm so organised am I not.

Kyle...totally understood your verses and wonder why anyone could have a problem with them!

Hugs to all who have colds, sore throats etc...head feeling a little stuffed tonight, looking forward to the week in the sun, the old bones are feeling the cold too so a little baking would be good.

Nicola, sorry that you are back in hospital but beds are too scarce to be given to people who don't need them....stay with the knitting.

Have now frozen ten litres of crab apple juice and made about 20 pounds of jelly...it tastes so good that I am having to seriously talk to myself not to attack it with a spoon! Only six stones of crabs to go.....

MadDogWoman....your dog sounds like the one my DS2 and DD3 have. Getting to be stew weather very early this year...OH doesn't like stew...if I had known this 38 years ago I would not have married him! I could eat stew 5 days out of 7 and be very happy with...what kind of person doesn't like stew ( or soup) for God's sake?
