Oh great...now I've got "I wish it could be soup day every day" to the tune of Wizard's "I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday" in my head...

Better go and do some work to distract myself then :D

    :j Afternoon all,

Well back from the hospital, and I must say they were marvellous, got called straight in, to a lady DR, who was fab, had a feel of my b***s, and said she could feel the lump, she then got out a needle, that would have been more suited to inject a horse  , and took all the fluid out of the lump, did not hurt at all, just felt the needle go in, it was full of dark coloured muck, which she thought was milk from when I breast fed !! DD is 13 this year ! (sorry if thats TMI) the lump had then gone :j

I then went for a mammogran which was more uncomfortable that painfull, but I did think that my b**b was going to expolde all over the walls :D
then they wisked me off for a scan, and the DR said I was full of these cists (sp) and may need to keep coming back to have them drained.

That was it, they let me go, so mum and I went to sainsbugs for a cuppa, and whilst we were in there the hospital phoned to say I was all clear :j :j , it was excellent service could not have been better, thank you all for your kind thoughts, it really does help being able to talk to you all.

Going to have a lie down with a hot water bottle, as b**b is a little bit tender.

The shuffs, hope your news is as good as mine, I will be thinking of you, good luck xx

Hugs to anyone else who would like one

  • Hello everyone!!

I've been trying to get on here all day! My telephone has been ringing almost nonstop, and, in between, the doorbell kept chiming. Don't these people realise I have an on-site life to conduct:rotfl: :rotfl:

Really wet cold and miserable in London today. Do hope it clears up by tomorrow, I'm standing on a street corner collecting for a children's charity for a couple of hours first thing. When it rains even fewer people want to stop and give anything. Not that I'm a tin-shaker, I just stand and if you want to give, great. If you don't want to give I'll still smile:D

:bdaycake: :bdaycake: Happy Birthday to Mioliere's Mum!!

    Happy Birthday Essex boy!!

It's my DGS1's birthday today as well. 4 years old, can't believe where the years have gone.

I just made some maple butter for the first time. DDIL gave me the recipe when we were in Canada. Think I've overcooked it, since it's cooled and turned into a cross between toffee and fudge, but it tastes great:o :rotfl:

:j redruby, so glad you have the all-clear.

((((((hugs))))) to all the poorly ones, especially those with the thread cold:eek: Do I have to type while not breathing in;)

Congrats to all those managing to shed the pounds, Shez, Taplady and MRSMACAWBER in particular.

Aussie, now that you're trilingual (Aussie, English and Scots) what will be your next language challenge?:rotfl: :rotfl:

N9eav congrats to your better half (:D ), if you're good at the fishing you'll not have to starve!

    Hardup Hester, loving your blog!!

frogga, congrats on the croc bread. As everyone is saying, you are very talented :T

Well best be off, I suppose I do have to get some dinner going, although I haven't got a clue what we're having:o :o Maybe fridge surprise ( it'll be a surprise if there's anything to have:rotfl: )

    Enjoy your evenings,

    CMxx

    Hi

Anniestar-thanks for wave -- so glad headache is better. Now you can enjoy the beginning of your weekend

    Redruby-that is brilliant news-- let's all celebrate:j :j :j

Well I cleaned under the stairs a while back Very Flylady anyway there were loads of vinyl LP's there hidden in the depths --- all the memories of times gone by for Mr and Mrs Chalky-- aaahh

anyway I sold a few on Amazon and TBH it was a real pain in the neck posting them. So I went to our local market all bouyed up for money, a piece of beef on Sunday cos friends are coming and out of the 20 he would only take 2 and gave me £4 ( And I had been practicing " is that your best offer " all the way there)
All that reinforces to me is that it is no use becoming too worried anout possessions - its people and experiences that count.

Anyway bought beef anyway ( half price in Somerfield) and then returned home to find OH had fallen off his ladder!!!!! ( I think he will be going back to the world of work on Monday !!! ) He is over 6' tall but said he was in so much pain he sat in the garden and cried. He wished I had been here but I would have been hopeless - hate blood and would have just insisted he went to A&e. Any way he spilt the wood stain he was using all over his head and has had to use Turps to get it out---- no getting close tonight then!!!:rotfl:

to finiss I think I am addicted to chutney making- now I have got the hang of it I make debris chutney, full of windfalls. lottie oinions, plums etc

    Have a good evening everyone
Try and do a good deed every day.
