E.ON Saver Fixed 1 Year v8

@risco
Online means that all the bills are only available online. They will not send out a paper bill.
And yes you can still phone E.ON to complain or ask for help.0 -
Hi there,
If i switch from the v7 to the v9 tariff will i lose out on the £30 cashback from MSE?
Morning Ally74.
As you're already our customer, you'll only be able to switch to our Saver Fixed 1 Year version 9 tariff with us. It's not available through the MSE Cheap Energy Club. You can move on to this tariff either online through our website or over the phone.
Don't worry about exit fees. Even though version 7 of this tariff has exit fees of £30 per fuel, they don't apply when moving between one E.ON tariff and another. Exit fees only kick in when changing supplier outside of the renewal period.
Hope this helps Ally74. Let me know if you need any more information.

Can someone explain to me what online only management means? Does this mean I cannot call up to query a bill?
I ask this as both Npower ( overcharged, screwed up tarrif ) and Sainsbury's (only applied tariff to my gas not electricity and thus also overcharged ) have massively screwed up my bills.
So as you can understand I do not want to go to a company that does not let me make a phone call to complain or query a bill?
Morning Risco and, as gsmlnx says, you can contact us with any sort of query. You can do this by phone, email, letter, through our social media channels or online through our Live Chat service. Advisors are available from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday and between 8am and 6pm Saturdays.
Online management means paperless billing. Instead of a bill coming through the post, we'll send an email to the registered address each time a bill/statement is raised to let you know it's there and ready to see. There's a discount of £5 per fuel per year for doing this.
As well as online bills, other services include entering meter readings, creating your own bills, setting up and managing Monthly Direct Debits, tracking usage and changing tariff.
Hope this explains Risco. Let me know if you need any more details.

Spot on gsmlnx. Online management doesn't take away other forms of contact. As above, there are various way for customers to keep in touch.

Many thanks for your help.
I'm currently waiting on £30 cashback payment from MSE Cheap energy club that gets paid after 3 months as a result of my last switch from BG to Eon.
Will me switching from v7 to v9 through your website affect the cashback payment or is it ok to switch now?

No, this won't have any impact on your previous switch Ally74. Switching from one E.ON tariff to another is between the customer and us only. No third parties are involved or know anything about it.
Hope this helps.

Hi Malc
I have just received my quarterly bill from E-On I am on Fixed Saver v7 , the bill shows I am on the best tarrif for gas but shows I could make a modest saving for electricity by changing to Fixed Saver v8.
Can you be on 2 separate tariffs for gas and electric? and if so how is it done.
When I use the options on my account on line and click change tariff it goes on to change both fuels.
Any advice would be welcome. Thanks Malc,
I think I understand, but why then show on the bill that I could get a cheaper deal when in fact it is not available. doesn't make sense to me.That's a very good point FOREVER21. To be honest, I wasn't aware of this until you spoke about it. I'll look in to this and give feedback about the 'could you pay less' message.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
Malc
Afternoon FOREVER21. As promised, I've given feedback on the point you raised about the 'could you pay less' message on our bills. I've someone looking at this now. To help move this to the next stage, are you able to send me a copy of the bill in question where you saw the message that caused the confusion?
I've given chapter and verse to those here who look after such stuff but it would help to show them an actual example from a customer. Proves it's not just me off on one of my hobby horses.
If this is possible, please send as an attachment to the email address in my Profile.
Many thanks FOREVER21.

Hi Forever21,
I would suggest removing personal information such as your account number, from your post.
