Good evening everyone
Today I am grateful for:- YouTube - and the people who take time to make blogs

- For the abundance in my life
Work has been crazy and I've felt like I've been running to catch up for weeks. Made a little headway today and sooooo glad I have a few days off. I am going to see if I can de-clutter some things... one item for each day so far... Greent and Mothernerd are putting me to shame haha!!!
Catch you all tomorrow⭐ DEBT FREE : 18/02/2025 ⭐

Yesterday worked out pretty much as expected (9 pm bedtime). Crafts was quiet and we were given chocolate eggs (saving mine for Sunday).
Today has been spendy as I had an eye test. Prescription hasn't changed much but I needed new ones as the lens on the right eye has scratches (from sewing needles) and the arm is very thin. A more robust pair has been selected and also a much cheaper pair of plain reading glasses which should be helpful for reading and sewing in bed (often find I am peering over the top of the varifocals when doing close work) and are much cheaper to repair or replace, if needed.
The monthly amount I set aside for replacing them is sufficient (+ probably would just have new lenses next time).
Spent time with local history partner, mostly on mocking up a new logo for one of his autism groups. Don't want to say too much as he needs to show it to members of his group first.
Came home for a while then went to mum's and only recently home. Need to do some thinking over the weekend but need to rest first - thinking about a staycation holiday but have lots of sewing and books to read (mild panic this morning as only had 3 fiction books and one is only an overnight or afternoon read).
Today I am grateful for finding some new titles by favourite authors, for taxis and buses arriving promptly and for food in the freezer and fresh veg.My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0 -

Jo Blogs - you are putting everyone to shame by having so many NSD's:rotfl:
I like to think I will have loads of NSD's and then my daughter does something stupid like organise 3 sleepovers over 2 weeks so I have to get bits in for them (although too be fair the cost does not come from my pocket but her Child Benefit account so not my money wasted)
Hope everyone has a Good Friday and remember its tradition to eat Hot Cross Buns today to remember Jesus on the cross.
For those that don't like spice or currants (that's me then!!), Tesco do Toffee and Caramel Hot X Buns with not a spice or currant in sight:T
Yesterday was a spend day, DD got bits and pieces for her sleepover and I went out with my friend for our monthly gossip.
Today will be another spend day as DD has another sleepover and I will try and get my veg for Sunday.
Is it too early to start the Easter Eggs:D0 -

I have some of apple's rabbits and can vouch for how completely brilliant and fabulous they are - we have a whole family of them.
Skint Teacher - huge congratulations to you and your husband. I hope you've had a wonderful day.
We've had a nice few days break in Scotland and now back to reality. I shall be chalking up the nsd's very soon indeed and getting back into the swing of things. Unfortunately I seem to have returned with some sort of tummy bug which has just wiped me out - although I am grateful I got home before I started feeling poorly.

Thank you ccl!
Today I am grateful for a day off from a stress-inducing situation, for a good chat with big sis, for time with dh and dd, for a lovely friend over the way, for apps that make journey planning easy peasy, for the beautiful carpets of bluebells, for pretty fairtrade roses, for books from charity shops, for not getting caught in some heavy rain, for dd's constant cheeriness.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0
