Not 100% sure if today classes as a nsd as I spent money on essentials but nothing else.

It depends what rules you set yourself - generally on here any spend is counted even if it is budgeted for including essentials. We don't count medical costs though.

Some people do count a spend as a NSD if it is budgeted but they will mention this at the start of the month.

If our esteemed leader Kat was still leading us then any spend is a spend day (except medical) and she was ultra strict.

This is not a competition so whatever suits you is fine - it's just about being more mindful of spending and trying to get people to save for what they really want/pay off debt etc and not get caught up in the consumer lifestyle that the media portrays we all need.

Friday was a spend day as DD got bits for her sleepover, while we were in Asda I got some of the veg they are doing for 20p - my fridge is overflowing at the moment!!

Yesterday was a NSD and today will be as well - today was meant to be about board games. Its the only thing DS has desperately wanted to do since he came back from Uni (he is the one who lives in a tip while at Uni!!) but his girlfriend invited him over to hers so he has gone. Board games will be next weekend instead.
I am going to the field/allotment to do some more work - have been every day so far this long weekend and then this afternoon (when it rains) I am going to declutter more things.

Quiet day here yesterday. Had a nice long walk but got caught in a heavy shower. Never mind, it's only water! Today is a bit dull and wet so just a short walk, I think. Still beavering away at freezers. Made a steak pie for dinner using meat and pastry which has been lurking there for a while. The challenge is all the cooked chicken:(
    Have a good day.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.

    Happy Easter :easter_os
I'm pleased to report that I'm just about back to full physical health although I really don't feel like doing anything very much at all today. So I'm not. It's relaxing Easter Sunday for me (apart from the usual house stuff).

Glad to hear you're feeling better, ccl :)

Not NSD yesterday - small grocery spend and 3 bags of compost. Sig still to be updated. Loads more stuff removed from garage, though and recycled/ thrown/ donated/ put for selling as appropriate. Still more to do out there....!!

Will price some nns items and list on fleebay today - chilly and dull out and smalls don't want to go anywhere. OH is going to do some housework and we are having easy food for dinner later. NSD - popped to carboot and found nothing and no plans to go anywhere else. Sold 1 thing on fleebay yesterday and another today - small items but still stuff leaving :) Have more than achieved my 150 items gone target for the month -(and that doesn't include those identified for sale but not yet sold):j

Not sure April is particularly restful so far....! :D:D

    Thankfulness yesterday/ today:

    * lots achieved in garage - in harmony with OH
    * evening with friends last night - good catch up
    * a few good YS deals in Sains yesterday
    * a quick catch up with favourite aunt earlier
    * a nap on the sofa when I felt unwell

I did a shift for 2nd job yesterday, went to the supermarket on the way home and got things for lunches during the week plus baking stuff.

This morning I ran 10k in preparation for the run next weekend. I've been pottering around the flat doing some cleaning and also baking, made banana loaf and scones. May make choc chip cookies later.

OH and a friend have been out in the garden all morning doing various bits and bobs. We're planning to go and get plants and seeds tomorrow once I've finished work.

I'm currently heading into town to meet the girls for a late lunch so today will be a spend day.
