A NSD. Lots of sleeping. Good sewing last night, feeling enthused again.
Today I am grateful for peace and quiet, an enjoyable novel and my lovely sewing (glorious colours and I just want to reach out and stroke it).My mission in life is not only to survive,but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0 -
Oh arrived home for the weekend and we decided to have a takeaway - was the last night DS1 was home before going away for the weekend (which includes his 17th bday), so yesterday wasn't NSD. Ate the leftover curry for dinner tonight
OH and I popped into town this morning and picked up some small stocking filler type presents t finish off DS1's present. ALso picked up breakfast whilst we were out - a date morning, if you willCame back and cleared garage loft of lots of things - 2 recycling boxes are now full and OH did a tip and recycling run in his car. Some things ended up in the bin and I also burned a lot of old tax paperwork and left a bike at the bottom of the drive with a 'take me' sign (it went). Up to about 120 items (things like a filing box of cards counting as 1 item and around 40 cardboard boxes of varying sizes as another) decluttered this month
Set myself a target of about 150, so am pleased with progress so far
Tomorrow sees us tackle more of the garage - doubt we'll get it all done but hopefully can make some good progress.
Today I am thankful for:
* leftovers
* working well with OH in clearing the garage loft
* wheat bags
* birdsong

Morning Turtles
Just plodding along here. Been a bit lazy if truth be told. Must get back into gear especially on the weight loss and non drinking front. Been really bad at that this month. On the plus side both freezers are looking so tidy. Been using up lots of things that have been in there for years (and I do mean years). Oh. and the chicken and leek pie was lovely.
Another beautiful day here so I'm off for my walk whilst it lasts. Forecast for tomorrow is not good.
Hope you all get lots of Easter eggs.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0 -

Today I am grateful for the sunshine, for a super smooth trip home, for seats on all the trains, for a huge amount of apple blossom on our 3 trees, for having a home to come back to, for a good visit with mum, for my knitting, for lovely fabrics, for a few more days before returning to work, for my wonderful big sister.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0
