  • I'm very sorry to hear about your dad I went through the same last year and wouldn't wish it upon anyone. You definately need to make a new claim for Income Support (provided you are still sick? If not Jobseekers Allowance) from the date your old claim stopped.

The IS guidlines clearly state that you have to inform them if you are not going to attend a medical so DWP would have been legally obliged to close your claim when you didn't attend the 3rd. I know it may feel like you are being victimised but this is the law and DWP staff cannot over rule this.

The national new claims line is 0800 0556688. Best of luck x

    Your post was off topic.

Have you spoken to CAB or the CLS today, or the LA, or the DWP?

Last time I looked you were only a mere poster not boardguide,

Have you spoken to CAB or the CLS today, or the LA, or the DWP?

    CAB I go Monday.
    CLS waste of space.
Why do I need to speak to LA?
    DWP, why?

Samaritans were extremely nice to me and understanding.

Sorry, but that's a waste of time. I reported you deleting my posts a year or so ago for no good reason and never got a response from them - nor were my posts re-instated.

Whilst I appreciate posters on here need help, they also need to take on board the advice they are given and should refrain from being rude. Being depressed should not mean that someone can be rude whenever they feel like it.

Fred/David you have been asked not mess about with quotes and your response is do it all the more. I find it amazing that some people cannot see all you really want to do now is to try to wind-up and goad people.
