You actually believe that everyone else is at fault, don't you? Unbelievable.Gone ... or have I?0 -

You have now got the proof and if you are too blind to see it that is not my problem. If all you want to do is argue for arguements sake I suggest you do it elsewhere with someone else because I am getting bored with it. As I said before if you had better and more sensible attitude you would not get yourself into such a mess. Thank you DMG for taking the time and trouble to give quotes of the rudeness and nastiness this poster often displays.0 -
there is this too:weymuffred wrote: »
 do you really think the poster was thinking about how their post was laid out? They are in need of help not a english lesson.

To avoid attending 3 medicals is asking for benefit to be stopped. I have seen people on here with severe depression , agoraphobia, panic attacks etc but they still somehow manage, with help, to get to the medicals. How otherwise do you suggest the DWP weed out malingerers and cut benefit fraud? Not that I am suggesting that you come under that heading of course.0

I am disgusted at the way that you are replying to weymuffred. This person has come here asking for help and apart from already having difficulties has had to deal with slow death of a family member. I have been helping care for someone with cancer this year and been there for them through to their death in August and I can assure you it is totally harrowing to watch. I found that I was busy helping my friend with benefits and other things to do with the NHS that they were going through, also helping my daughter who had a baby in May and my own affairs slipped and I'm only just recovering them now. I did not have a depression/medical problem before all this and I can't imagine how low weymuffred must be now feeling, only to be talked to in this manner on mse.
I can fully understand the upset caused when you turn to an organisation - or a forum like this - that's supposed to help and they don't appear to recognise the help you need.

Some of the advice you have been given is good. The first thing is to find an organisation that will help you, keep at it and you will find empathetic people. Try the CAB again, you might have got a poor or inexperienced adviser. You do need someone to help with an appeal and you only have a month in which to appeal. Perhaps there is another organisation in your area that helps people with sickness and disability? You could try contacting Mind who might be able to help with your distress - their website says you can ring, email or write.
Regarding your benefits as someone has said you will need to put in new claims for IS/IB/HBen/CTaxBen to make sure that from now on you have some income. You might be able to get an emergency payment, ask the Jobcentre.
The first thing is to find someone who can help with all this and with your appeal. Try the local CAB/CLS again, there will be someone to help.

Fran,
Have you read the post? He has been told all of this before, on this thread and on the one on youreable. There are only so many times that people will be polite when they are getting nasty replies back.
It concerns me a lot that people might not post on boards like this at the point when they really need help.

Sorry Fran, I forgot we are not allowed to disagree with you.
My post was on thread, it offered genuine advice to the OP.Gone ... or have I?0 -
So it is not allowed to have an opinion that doesnt match the board guide, I did not realise that. There was nothing at all wrong with my last post and see no reason for it being removed as it stated the facts with regard to your previous comments.0
