URGENT Help needed please.

Hopefully someone can help me as I am at my wits end because I have now had my IS stopped because I missed a medical in May and forgot to advise them why, ( I had cancelled 2 others and advised them). The reason I didnt advise them is because I have been through a rough year waiting for my dad to die from cancer, he was in and out of hospice and I was told on numerous occassions that he only had "so long to live" but the stubborn old man kept on fighting it until he lost the fight on July 1st :cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:
I am not a person who copes with death at the best of times but my own dad, well its completely rocked me. I was getting national insurance contributions for IB but they stopped that and i asked them to look at the decision again but their decision stood, and now they have stopped IS, and that means my HB, Council Tax rebate has stopped as well.
Please can someone help me and advise what to do? Can I ask them to look at the decision again? I cant beleive they can be so cold and stoney hearted.

This has already been fully answered on another forum on another website. I dont want people wasting their time. The same question has been posted on youreable.com. In order to sort out your problem you need face to face advice from one of the four agencies that have been suggested to you on Youreable.

Where has it been answered? I would not be asking for help otherwise. Contacting the CLS? Yeah waste of time as I am still awaiting a call back from last wedsnesday

As I said would nt be asking if my query had been answered. And also i am thoroughly depressed and trying to greive (SP) my loss and feel like ending it as my life is just one bad thing after another. Sorry for wasting yours and everyones precious time.
No welfare advisor anywhere near where i live. Already contacted CLS waste of time, contacted local council who have stopped my HB and CTR. The local CAB are a waste of time in my area. Who says you cant ask for advice in more than one place? Is this not what this forum is for? You can never ever have enough help and information especially at a time like this, when I couldnt feel any lower if I tried.

You seem to have appointed yourslf forum jobsworth. I am having a problem because I have had a crap year in which I have lost my father, to a long hard fight with cancer (a cancer which when people usually get it, they die within a couple of weeks) my dad battled it for 2 years so you can bloody well bet I have a problem at the moment, the loss of my dad and all the times our family went through seeing him turn from a healthy man to looking like a skeleton, and being told everytime he went in the hospice, to prepare not to see him again. So pardom me if I am a little upset and in need o f some help.
I am trying to get over loosing my dad and all the things gone with it, but no I am having to sort out possibily lossing my house and spiralling into huge debts because of some jobsworth at the jobcentre.

If this is not the OP, it is one heck of a coincidence!

Yes you have got it in one. The message above yours has been repeated in another thread and I have received the same one in a PM. On checking there have been prolems with this poster before being rude to people and wasting their time with advice given in good faith and then thrown back in their face. All you you need to do is check back through some of his posts to see this - you can check for yourself David/Fred if you want evidence as you must have read them!

I understand that you are down at the moment, but taking that attitude with people who are trying to help you will not get you anywhere.

The advice given on youreable is spot on. I am not sure what else you want people to tell you?

Please provide evidence of this, because when people have given me advice I have always thanked them for their time and help.

I am only stating the truth. CLS promised to call me back last wedsnesday 19th, today is the 27th and no call back.
The CAB in my area is not much use as it only has certain people who deal with certain things, benefits not one of them.
I have contacted the council, they have stopped my HB and i am now going to have to pay council tax.

There are no welfare advisors in travelling distance of where I live.

If you genuinely believe that, then you need to review what you have said in previous posts on MSE.
I have contacted the council, they have stopped my IS and i am now going to have to pay council tax.

The council have not stopped your IS, they have nothing to do with that. With regard to your HB and CTB, you need to complete a new application. Assuming that you have no other income, you will be eligible for HB and CTB based on your income. You were told this on your other post.

I am amazed that there are absolutely no agencies in your area that would deal with a query of this sort. Where do you live?
