Kensington Mortgage application timescale

oh gosh. that is a long time if they have everything all ready. our last reference from our landlady was sent to Kensington yesterday. I was hoping to hear something this week but if they've had everything of yours for 3 weeks that doesn't look likely now. 
we keep being chased by the estate agent now too as we're holding up the chain.
has your valuation been done?

im not real sure? i know that they only show up on equifax though have you checked on there?

Oh gosh you guys - really hope you all get some good news soon - waiting is so stressful!

@Amysmith21 my solicitor is finally doing something - part of our offer was a request for a coal mining search so we're getting that done, and then he's requested everything for our AML checks with them. They haven't had replies to enquiries yet and is chasing them from the vendors solicitors. That's it so far, but at least it's something! you?

Kensington definitely do a hard search pretty much straight away, only shows on Equifax though. But it would absolutely be showing by now

aww well don't loose faith just yet! our application might not of been as straight forward as yours! hope you hear something this week. at least your getting updates and know exactly where you're at! thats the main thing.

We have also finally heard something and things in the background seem to be happening! We should have our mortgage documents that have been reviewed ready for signing from the solicitor turn up today hopefully so we can sign and send back. Everything now seems to be waiting for post to turn up and be returned lol! I think we are quite close to exchanging now, our solicitor has requested our ISA funds so fingers crossed not too long left to go...hopefully all of yours comes along quite quickly now

hmm I'm not sure about that.
The hard search kensington did showed up on both my experian and equifax credit files the day after we submitted the full application. 
I'm pretty sure it should show on yours if you have submitted the full app by now. not sure why it would be different for one.
could you ring experian or equifax and check if a search has been done maybe?

Blimey you're really close now then! Feels like we're a good couple of weeks off yet, no idea how our vendors onward chain is doing either. Luckily we're not in a mad rush haha

I'm not sure. Can you check your experian or equifax. it should show on the free score. 
have you heard anything from Kensington since you applied? Request for extra docs? references? etc
