I've heard craziness like this before - I think they want birth certificates? It's so bizarre. what they ask for. @EmzJenks yeah which id understand, but due to having children when not married and then marriage and name cahnges etc etc the names will never add up ! its because she has a different surname to his maternal grandma which most people do! i just dont think were ever going to be able to proove this

no way! I thought a letter from her confirming it's a gift would of been enough.
Birth certificates aren't always something you can get hold of quickly.

so we have managed to find the paper trail - birth certfitcates and marriagae certfifcates etc to help proove the link! horrah! had to order my husbnad a new birth certificate but we can pick it up Monday and hopefully get the ball rolling again ! 4 weeks and counting now0
