@kdickinson90 Ahhh yes that's great you've managed to be able to prove it! Is so mad they have asked for that...I thought there crazy requests couldn't get that mad LOL! Fingers crossed you can get the ball rolling along speedily next week. Keep us updated how you're getting on.

@lauraclay1727 It definitely makes a difference to speak to people who are in the same boat and will understand all the waiting around and anxiousness! So glad you finally got your offer and hopefully its a more relaxed wait for moving day for you now!
  • @kdickinson90 that's great news! hopefully that's the last request before your offer 😊

@Amysmith21 it has been a massive help. thank you. I hope your moving day isn't too far away either.

Our chain is back together! The owner of the house we're buying have had an offer accepted on another bungalow :) Chain is slightly longer than before as the owners of the bungalow are buying a park home, so hopefully no more issues and it'll go through quickly now. I hope!

    that's great news!!
  • Speaking with my boss today and Kensington requested a reference back on 9th July. However, are yet to ask my husbands work for one yet? I found this pretty odd! They asked for our landlords details last week also. So hoping that got requested. Just waiting to hear back from the extra docs sent on Monday now! And still waiting for them to ask for bank statements! 30 days and counting ...

could your MA chase anything that's outstanding. that's what ours did in the end to get them moving.
fingers crossed you don't have to wait much longer now.
  • @lauraclay1727 i feel so bad bugging her all the time though. so i send to leave it a good week inbetween each email i send her hahaha. yeah me too! fingers crossed

We were told we would have an offer by today, so I called my MA who advised that the surveyor put that there is movement in the valuation report. However it is a new build not even built yet so Kensington have questioned this. Think someone likes to use copy and paste too much. It’s annoying as we’re on a tight timeline with exchanging on our new build and it is just delaying things unnecessarily for someone being lazy

I wouldn't be waiting for them to ask for anything - get your MA to upload it all. Kensington to have a thing on their website saying all the docs (basic ones not random requests) that will be required, and bank statements are a definite. Ask your MA to upload them now
