Hi @antony9249. Good luck with your application.

I have recently had an offer issued. It is a lengthy process and took us around 6 - 7 weeks from application to offer.

The documents we had to send, 3 months of pay slips, p60, SA302 and tax year over view for two years profits along with 3 months of buisness bank statements from my husbands buisness, proof of gifted deposit, 3 months of bank statements, I had to send evidence of payments of DMP. I had set up when my husband and I separated for a short period. This what lead me to default my accounts. I then had to write a supporting statement explaining why I entered in to a DMP. They then asked for evidence of funds to pay off a small finance we had, it had already been settled so no problems. The last thing they asked for was proof of address.

Bear in mind they don’t ask for the documents at the same time. They will request a couple, review and then request more. This is what takes the time.
  • Hello, just following on from my previous post. My broker messaged me today to say Kensington called him to let him know they have instructed the valuation today.

In anyone’s experience here.. is that a good sign for things going well?

It seems to be based on our experiences the last couple weeks.

Oh no!! I can’t believe it’s taking so long. Have you spoken to your mortgage broker to find out what is causing the long delay. I hope it all gets sorted very soon for you.
