Totally depends what they valued it at. If you mean in regards to your mortgage then yes it is, it usually means they're happy with the applicants themselves as they've instructed the valuation.

We had an offer from Kensington last month, and were told that the moment they instruct valuation that means they're happy and satisfied with the borrowers. So assuming that's right and the house is okay, you'll be fine now I suspect
  • Hi guys, currently going through an application with Kensington ,like many I made stupid mistakes when younger, currently trying to remortgage to remove an ex from my mortgage and Kensington have sent 3 emails now asking for more information ,one was asking about my current partner and childcare costs? And the latest one is asking for my latest tax return (self employed) should I be worried or is it standard procedure for them to ask for more and more information? So stressful having being turned down by my current lender I can’t help but worry.

    any feedback appreciated thanks guys.

Yes they continue to ask more and more ans it can take a week in between questions its a very stressful process but normal for them it seems. At times I felt I was being investigated

Yes they're just very thorough and slow. But to be fair the questions they asked me all made sense, but they ask them one by one and then there's a long gap in between responses. It would make more sense if they assessed, sent you 5x questions and you replied and that's that. (Unless your answers didn't make sense and needed clarifications)
  • Yeh it feels like they want to know everything about me ,my broker did say they might ask some strange questions ,tbh it’s such a stressful thing to deal with especially whilst working having time to get documents they request etc ,I understand we are seen as riskier clients but god damn my anxiety is through the roof every time I get an email from them !

I’ll try keep updated on here hopefully it all goes through ,good luck people it’s hard enough getting on the property ladder as it is ,I’m in the fortunate position of having 50% equity in my house so I’m hoping they pull through for me!
