Hello, I am presently having difficulties with this company, as follows:
I paid via Paypal for a download of M S Office 2003. The download appeared
to be successful, but the zip file will not open and presents me with this
message: "cannot open file as it does not appear to be a valid archive".
I have emailed for support from them as they make much of the care they
offer to their customers. So far I have had no replies, and have since contacted
Paypal in respect of the unsatisfactory product and their non response.
On doing some of my own investigation I discovered that the listing at Nomiet
gives the name of the website owner but no address as 'the registrant is NOT a
business'. The registrant name is given as Khuram Shazad The address of the
'company' is given on the website as:
ExiSoftware.Inc
Kingfisher Business Park
Hawthorne Road
Liverpool L20 6PF
A Directory search produced no telephone numbers either for the registrant, nor
ExiSoftware.Inc.
I am not done with this business yet!0 -
It's obviously not a registered company, as I mentioned before "Inc." is not a legal British abbreviation."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Just typed in the postcode on the Post Office website, and they're not listed among the businesses on that street. The street is genuine, but the address itself isn't.
ETA: if you're going to buy from them, then you might as well be a proper pirate and just download a free copy for yourself.0 -
i cant believe that amazon has allowed a very dodgy company to advertise on its website!
as been said, if you want a pirate copy, then just DL it yourself and save the 32 quid!Get some gorm.0 -
Hello all,
Late last night I received a response from Paypal, in which they tell me that my money has been refunded by the seller. It has yet to appear in my bank account but at least it is promising.0 -
I would always recommend Open Office to anybody wanting an office suite that is compatible with MS Office files. It contains less bloat, is quicker and has the added advantage of being able to export to PDF if you wish to do so.0

On the Amazon Sponsored link which is still showing I emailed them and got this reply:Thank you for writing to Amazon.co.uk.
I am sorry that you were upset to see these Sponsored Links on the
product detail page.
Please allow me to explain that Sponsored Links are generated by
third-party ad networks, and not by Amazon.co.uk editors.
However, we understand that certain links may be inappropriate, and
we are currently working to refine the process so that such pairings
do not occur.
I have also forwarded your message to the appropriate people in our
company. If after investigation we deem the link to be inappropriate
on that particular product detail page, it will be removed.
Thanks again for taking the time to bring this to our attention.
We always value this kind of feedback, as it helps us continue to
improve our store and provide better service to our customers. I
hope that we will see you again at Amazon.co.uk.0 -
Hello,
I am having one of those ' can't belive I have been duped' moments. As the saying goes if it is too good to be true than it generally is. I too bought a copy of MIcrosoft Office 2003 only to discover it was a download version and then once downloading it the product key was invalid.
I am trying to get my money back from paypal and have put in a claim. Paypal have responded saying they won't refund the claim as the dispute was not about delivery.
Rohelendus how did you go about getting the money back from the seller? has this happened?

For those who can't get their money back etc I'd advise contacting Microsoft straight away. I believe they sometimes give you replacement genuine software or heavily discounted for reporting pirate companies and individuals."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Actually I notice the site is already down. Bella25, I don't understand what paypal are telling you. Surely it's got nothing to do with delivery. You ordered the item, you haven't received the item as described. Hence you're entitled to a refund. Although if the site has already gone down I'm sure the seller has cleared his paypal account so there will be no funds to refund people. Did your paypal payment/funds come from your credit card? If so may be best getting refund off them."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"
