Vodafone Retention Deals

Been trying to leave for years, but I've just renewed my SIM only monthly deal for my iPhone with Vodafone again
. Was on £11.99 (50% discount), unlimited calls & texts, 1 GB of 4G data, but it had ended and they increased to £18.99 without me realising (fortunately the PDF bill still said '1/2 price line rental' so I got the £7 credited back!)
New tariff is £13.20pcm, 4GB, unlimited calls and texts, Free Eurotraveller (no £3 daily charge) and 6 months free Netflix/Spotify/Sky option, plus first two months free, after I said my budget was £11 a month, so on average it is £11 over 12 months. Before I got to this tariff I was negotiating £10.50pcm, 2GB, 600 mins, unlimited texts and first 3 months free, so effectively £7.87pcm, as I said I didn't need unlimited minutes or texts as I'm a low user, but I then said Three's network appealed for the roaming, so he then offered me the deal I went for. Probably could have knocked it down further but I was happy with it. Plus Three and ID mobile don't have 4G coverage where I live, so was a bit of a bluff anyway!
One day later, my order hadn't been processed so had to call up again and it's now been completed. Maybe I should have switched, but got 14 days to think about it some more haha0 -
Hi
Today I asked for my PAC Code and got a retention deal for my wife which was for a free Sony M4 Aqua with unlimited texts and calls and 2 gb of 4G data and free delivery for £13 per month (Normally £26 per month and basically RED 2GB Bundle). There is a 50% discount for 24 months
I thought that it was not bad a deal considering as my wife upgraded from 600 mins with unlimited text and only 500 mb of 3g data with a free Samsung galaxy S III Mini and that was £10 per month 2 years ago.
There is no mention of euro traveller plus or any Netflix etc but that doesn't matter as I have a spare phone and use a Three sim for there Feel at home services.0 -

I've just done something similar as could not get a decent deal on iPhone 6s so took a 12 month sim only contract and will look at potentially upgrading next spring (as can after 3 months) else might wait till iPhone 7. I went with 2GB, unlimited calls and texts at £11.90 per month but with £50 credit added to my account so effectively get the first four and a bit months free.0 -
How is talkmobile, after being taken over by Vodafone recently??0

I know some will say don't do it. Though I have my contract & daughters with Vodafone. I am looking to renew my daughters iphone for the other contract.
I want to keep both phones under same supplier for the time being hence leaning towards Vodafone.
I want to drive a deal on a iphone 6, preferably more data useage then her current 6GB data useage as she keeps going over! Maybe looking at 10GB. Minutes and text not to concerned about as she doesn't use that much on that side!
Anyone here know the best number to call them on to barter. I enquired via online chat and the indian call centre only quoting the website prices.
Thanks0 -
If they work like other networks...
Call them and ask for a PAC so you can transfer the number to an alternative network; or select the I'm thinking of leaving option from the voice menu.
You usually get put though to someone who can do deals.
Check to see what available elsewhere to give yourself something to bargain with.0 -
VodaFv¢s under consideration, even third of new topics on this board is to do with their deliberate incompetence, rip-off, despair...
PAC and run!0 -
Thanks for the replies. I'll see what Vodaaphone gonna offer. Though I am not holding out much hope as they money grabbing gits.
The daughters one is out of contract zone now. How long is it for a PAC code to be issued if leaving?0 -

2 hours from request. Two contracts up for renewal...ball is surely very much in your court :rotfl:SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe0 -
No only the one 1 contract. I went on to SIM only on mine back in June 2015. Mainly as it was a good deal and the coverage worked for me. So not the dealing hand you think! Though the daughters one is the bigger paying one as she requires more data allowlance as she uses hers more then mine!0
