simo, 12 mo contract. £12.50 for unltd calls and texts and 6gb 4g. spotify for the full 12 months too.

Any tips on how to get this offer? I have always been with Vodafone and they are refusing to go below £15.30 (due to commercial laws apparently....). I even requested my PAC code and still nothing. Maybe it's time to finally part ways.

If you have gone ahead & got your PAC code I'd imagine you will be getting a call from Vodafone outbound retentions very soon... When my 12 month deal expired last April I requested my PAC & within a few hours they rang with a half price deal (which expires soon), Personally I am hoping to get the £15.30 (or less) deal you have been offered as my current deal ending is Unlimited mins/texts/5GB & Spotify for £15.50pm

I managed to get a free 16gb iphone 6, 7gb 4G data, spotify for 2 years & unlimited texts/calls for £32.40 on a retention deal. Which i think is good.

Can I ask how you managed to get this? We had a nightmare trying to upgrade and they then couldn't fulfil the order so we ende up cancelling it and going onto a 30 day rolling contract for now (and I have my PAC code) but I would love a deal like this!

Big thread on HUKD - worth a read as it seems someone who works for Retentions is on there, replying to posts, and explains all the deals that they offer.

"I work for Vodafone Retentions. You can get 50% discount off most of those quite easily. We can't discount under £10. Kick up enough fuss and say you friend got a 50% discount and you are looking the same and we will just offer it.

If you mention EE or Three and their unlimited data, we may offer credit to get a few months free.

All contracts come with 3 months unlimited data, we also have an bolt on (dodgy advisors would use it) to get an extra 2GB FOC (free of charge)."

Apparently mine (40% off and extra 2GB of 4G) was the baseline offer and I could have done better, eg a few months free as well.

I'm not too fussed as I'm getting way more than last year's retentions deal for less money, and at the time I was researching it I didn't see anything close to what I got (by looking at this thread, and also seeing what rival networks could offer new customers)

Next year though, I'll be after more ;)

I was due an upgrade with Vodafone and wanted an iPhone 6. They quoted £43 per month. I refused, took a new contract with Vodafone and got cash back via Quidco and got my iPhone 6 for £30.

My previous contract is now cancelled and I have also kept my old number despite Vodafone telling me I would lose it.

So if you don't get a good deal on retention don't be afraid to look around

Does anyone think there is a chance of getting a good retention deal for the Galaxy S6? I can upgrade from the end of this month although prepared to wait until out of contract to get a better deal elsewhere.

What's the deal with losing your number though as I thought it was portable to any network?
