  • I'd love to see a better deal for a 5s - please share

HUKD is getting excited about a £24pm 5c on ee so if you know of better, bung it on here (and there!):)

Sure...as soon as the Vodafone person I'm dealing with gets back to me I'll report.

But it's not long now til the iPhone 6 comes out and I still reckon there's better deals to be had when that happens.
  • roughly, quick google search:
Galaxy s5 sim free approx £365
iphone 5s sim free approx £549

so if you're chasing a deal for £27 4gig 4g data on an s5 - it's possibly not that great either is it!

(and i am not an apple fan, the iphone has gone to the wife - i'm using a xiaomi mi3)

Just been offered two very good retention deals - one was for £23.95 and the other for £26.68 for a Samsung Galaxy S5 with unlimited minutes and texts and either 4 or 7 gigs of 4g data respectively. When I asked if these included VAT I was told that yes they did, but these prices seem too low and a little too random (i.e. ending in .95 and .68) to be including VAT. Do Vodafone's retention offers usually include VAT?

£28.93 including VAT, same spec as you. There you go.

I've opted for the superior phone at a cheaper price and with much more data though as it's the best option for me :money:
  • Hi

I have been offered the following sim only deals
    unlimited calls
    Unlimited texts
1gb of data for £10.50 per month or
5gb of data for £15.50 per month

For a second account I have I have been offered a Samsung Galaxy S4 mini with the following
    600 mins of calls
    unlimited texts
500mb of data for £17.23 per month or
    1gb of data for £19.83

What do you think of the these deals. I'm not sure the one for the Galaxy S4 mini is too good, but does anyone know what the S4 mini is like, I've used the S3 mini and the lag was terrible.

    Thanks for your help

Yes was for free. I rejected their first offer and they came back with that.

^ bear in mind I've been with them for 10 years this year though and my contract was days away from expiring. I didn't have to do much to negotiate the offer and last time I renewed (2012) I didn't negotiate, I just renewed. so not sure if that's giving me extra leeway.
  • cheers for the replys The Boss, ive been with them since 2000, bar one year with o2, they called (with 2 weeks or so to go) offering s5 ult mins ult texts free s5 but only way they can bring it under £30 is a 3g price plan with 1gb data if they make it 2gb (which i have now for £21) it becomes the £30 odd 4g price plan price :'(
