    Hi all,

Hopefully a quick question that someone will know the answer to. I have recently upgraded my wife's contract as it had lapsed and we were going to move away from VF.

The new phone (Xperia Z) is being delivered tomorrow but having done further research and having taken my wife into a phone shop, I think we have gone for the wrong phone.

I know I can send it back, unopened under the 7 day cancellation policy but I am just worried that I will not be able to speak with the retentions team again to do a deal on her preferred handset.

Does anyone know if I can contact the retentions team directly to see what they can offer on the preferred phone?

you can't. return it and ask for your pac code. again once the accounts been reset. It will take awhile. Extremely slow process.

The returns team reset the account and then you can request the pac to make you eligible again

    Hi,
I've also been a customer of VODAFONE for over 10 years and have always managed to upgrade to a deal with which I am happy to accept. This time around, the deals I have been offered are disappointing to say the least. There seem to be many better deals out there so I'm not sure why Vodafone aren't acting on this to keep loyal customers happy and offering them a deal which is competitive. I hate the idea of moving to a non-UK company but to be honest, I can see it happening this time around. Can any of the Vodafone reps on here help me out? Perhaps it's because I want to stay on a 12mth contract (as i have done since I joined Vodafone)?
    Regards,
    Chris

    Hi Chris,

So we can take a closer look at things could you email me with your details via the link in our profile here?

All you need to do is copy and paste the link into your web browser and it will take you to the Contact us form on our website. To make sure it reaches me could you also quote the code WRT135 - MSE in the subject line?

Once sent you'll receive an automated reply with a reference number. Could you update the thread with this and I'll get back to you as soon as possible?

    Kind regards,

    Lee

Northern Ireland users living in and around border areas have particular problems regarding roaming, we can often find ourselves moving out of Vodafone UK and into Vodafone Ireland often without knowing that it is happening.

Can Vodafone users in Northern Ireland let me know what deal they’ve got, re roaming.

Lee arranged a phone call which came this afternoon. During our conversation about possible deals we agreed that a rep would call me back Tuesday, and that they would offer me the best deal possible for they were NOT on a commission basis :rotfl:

Think Vodafone Insider might disagree here!

The number was 08080000133 is that the retention number and are they the ones that can offer the best deals
